WARNING: Please uninstall/remove all STOP II related files or corruption could happen. Please be advised before downloading the new version of this modification.

Folks, right as I said it was going to come out, the newest, more professional and improved, complete version of Marble Blast STOP II is now here! We have a lot of exciting content for you Marble-Blasters out there and have been working on this update for more than six months, with every level and feature tested throughout these six months THOROUGHLY!

Some notable changes we'd like to mention (more in forum and changelog)

- Fake Secondglasses are removed.
* You can tell Secondglasses apart. Tan = good / Red = bad.
+ Added Blasting.
+ Level count now 141 compared to 266 originally available
* To add, every level is modified, re-tested (SIX MONTHS of testing, I say again), and more levels have been added. Many levels removed.
* To make Teapots easier to find there are tubular and spherical "beacons" over them to make them easier to find.
- Old trailers removed.
- World Record Book for 1.1 added. New official record book as of this update.

Thank you especially to:
- whirligig (code!) (for sticking through this project!)
- eBlu (new textures and environment suggestions!)
- Snowleaf (love and support!)
And everyone else on the STOP II Team!

I'd also like to thank my friends and family to motivate, push me to release this update. You're all the best!

A few things I've noticed:
  • Why does Beginner 14 have two Pentagons? If you collect one, you don't get rewarded for collecting the other. One of them shouldn't be there.
  • New key bindings don't always show up in the Options menu. On that front, it'd also be nice if you change the "Reset marble" key binding.
  • There doesn't seem to be a way to change the screen resolution beyond pillar box/letterbox. Is that intentional?
  • It'd be nice if the menu showed which Pentagons you've collected in addition to which Octagons you've collected.
  • What's up with your level time showing up in small text at the top of the level completion window?

Have a Marble Blast, everyone!

@Steven:

Q: Why does Beginner 14 have two Pentagons? If you collect one, you don't get rewarded for collecting the other. One of them shouldn't be there.

Huh. I just played Beginner 14 JUST to find that there actually are two Pentagons. Nice catch! We'll have that ironed out by the next update.

New key bindings don't always show up in the Options menu. On that front, it'd also be nice if you change the "Reset marble" key binding.

You can't change the Reset Marble keybind, but the Blast keybind is strange. You can change it, but it won't show up as the "new key" and sometimes re-mapping to other keys does not seem to work. We have no idea why but will keep this open toward another update, along with (maybe) adding a Reset Marble keybind.

There doesn't seem to be a way to change the screen resolution beyond pillar box/letterbox. Is that intentional?

This is intentional. No confirmation on a window for changing screen sizes in a future update.

It'd be nice if the menu showed which Pentagons you've collected in addition to which Octagons you've collected.

You know what, I agree that this would also be nice. Now I think this? +1 (will add in a future update)

What's up with your level time showing up in small text at the top of the level completion window?

This is (mostly) intentional. The only problem seems to be the text did not become what it should be, but it was left alone due to where the timer is now.

Let's focus on the positives on the game now rather than the little things. Any other suggestions should be e-mailed to me, as I do not come here often. You can find Tekannabrand's e-mail address in the World Record Book.

I haven't given this a try yet, but I intend to as soon as I get a chance. I just want to congratulate you on this release, I'm pleased to see you strive so hard to improve your work!
You've certainly come a long way since the release of the original MBStop, keep it up.

You can just edit this in prefs.cs for now if you really need to. Just go to marble/client to find it, and scroll down in the file until you hit "$pref::Video::resolution".

I've noticed other levels that have multiple Pentagons as well. Might want to check them all and get rid of the extras. I've also noticed on the one beginner level where you rendezvous with a station, the "spaceship" doesn't show up if you restart the level after stopping (read: finishing).

Also, some of the textures aren't working properly, at least with OpenGL. An example is the crystals on Beginner level 44.

Finally, I've noticed some stability issues. I'm running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro.

Have a Marble Blast, everyone!

Please add a way to change where the game installs in the installer. I have a small C: drive and don't want things installing to it.
Also, I'm not going to play this game in 720p when I have a 1080p monitor, it looks awful. Please add some sort of resolution selector drop-down. Or just allow changing resolutions in the prefs.cs file. Just let people customize your game. It's singleplayer, I have no idea why you care so much about what people do to your singleplayer game. Not being able to set your resolution is completely ridiculous and you're ruining the mod for many people who don't have screens that are one of the two resolutions you allow.
