Honestly I'm not sure about the sign hit, I think it can be done better. The main improvement was the NB as you've pointed out, it gives just enough height, a jump gives slightly too much so you have to slow down.

The whole point of a natural bounce is that you are able to bounce whilst traveling at high speeds...

That was a sweet run!...well except for the ending. I loved the new way you did the first part of the level. I knew an edge hit would need to come soon.
Hopefully you finish it soon. Mastering the Marble is one of my favorite expert levels and it has a really nice world record path to go along with it.
