Just to let y'all know, I'm not doing a grammar post every day. I just wanted to post this while I thought of it. You know how we have the word 'fewer' but no one hardly seems to use it? Well that's because of an extremely common mistake made especially in spoken English. Some of you probably already know this, but: 'fewer' is used when the noun that follows it is plural. And 'less' is used when a singular noun follows. For example:
• less pizza (sorry Kalle not sorry
)
• fewer cookies
Who on earth knows why? I certainly don't, but it's grammatically correct. And grammar is everything.

Been using it for too long now.. BUT let's be glad I wasn't like my Mum and didn't spell cauliflower as 'cauliflour' for some 10/15 years
