Whenever I get colds or anything else, I never lose my voice. But that changed last year. I got some sort of annoying sickness that made me completely lose my voice on 2024-12-03. I had assumed it was from singing the night before, but today the same thing is happening again. I got a sore throat on Friday and today is day 3 and it's finally giving way to congestion, but along with it I am losing my voice, and I wasn't even singing this time. It's annoying. I might have to call out from work tomorrow, which is something I try never to do unless I am truly sick (for example, during three of the five times I got COVID). We were supposed to have a family friend over for New Year's, but I don't know whether that will happen anymore. I'm sad because this particular friend has already been kept away by sickness in this house twice since October alone. And I was looking forward to playing cards and games and enjoying the festivities. Not that I can't do that anyway, but this friend actually makes playing games fun. Anyway, that's all for today.
