Colored Names
You get a colored username by beating all Platinum and Gold Times in the MBG, MBP, MBU, and PQ levels while connected to the leaderboards. Bonus and custom levels are not included.
The reason you don't need all Ultimate Times is because this was considered too exclusive and difficult in the end. There are no plans to change this.
Once you've completed the requirements, edit your profile to select a color. To update your color on Discord, ask @moderators.
