It's been a while since I've done a poll, so here's something that's been on my mind for years. In 2024, when the website was brought back, we also added the Proboards Vault posts. On Proboards itself, and on this website for a short while in 2014, those Vault posts (minus the ones in spam categories) contributed to users' post counts, since they were primarily just old topics, and not necessarily useless topics. When those posts were deleted from these forums (which I believe happened in early 2015), everyone's post counts went down accordingly. But when we brought the posts back, the counts didn't go back up again.

So I'd just like to know the general community sentiment: should Proboards Vault posts contribute to post count? You can vote in the poll or comment here.

Personally, I think they should count, since there's a lot of history in there and also it explains why so many people have colored names (750 posts). Also, those people whose post counts got nerfed still have the appropriate achievements for hitting post milestones in their profiles, so there's a weird disconnect where they have the achievements but don't appear to have the requirements. And it's just a quick and easy way to see how much certain people have contributed to these forums over the years that is lost with inaccurate numbers.

I have no idea whether anyone else cares about this, but that's why I'm making this poll.
