You guys been working on any new projects? I've been semi-keeping tabs on my last thread , I was kinda expecting some of the more vocal builders to chip in, but then I remembered this is the forums. I've heard Discord is introducing some new face ID shit on their service, that's fucking stupid. Speaking of that, what's been going on in the Discord server? Any new arguments about mundane shit? Did SummerArmy piss someone off again?

Im gonna let you in on a little secret about me, I write my first threads bit by bit between my days. The only work I ever do within the website is formatting, other than that, I just paste that shit instantly. It sucks cause I really like writing, I just never find the time for it anymore. Don't let anyone tell you being a neet sucks, they're probably telling the truth.

Does this mean this thread was written today? Or was it a text file on my computer since last week? You'll never know...

I wanted to write a new thing in my music thread too, I've been listening to a few new albums recently, I just had a short hiccup with Spotify fucking up. Long story short, I made the move to local files instead, I've never looked back since. I still try to get new albums, both physically and digitally, it just feels good to own something rather than borrow it y'know.
Like the other thread, I've been anticipating maybe more people will participate on what they've been listening to recently, since Im bringing this thread up again, I hope to hear if you've been listening to anything recently, that thread doesn't just exist for my own music.

I hope I'm not squeezed dry before the summer, I've been thinking of doing alotta personal projects, some relevant to this game. Let's just see if I still got it in me come April yeah?

But anyway, even though I don't listen to any of the same music as you mentioned in this post, I do exclusively listen to music locally (either bought on CD or on iTunes). That way I can know I always own it. I guess since I've never used Spotify, I don't really know what I'm missing, but I don't listen to a huge amount of different music, so buying it locally just makes more sense for me.

And there's something so satisfying about importing a CD to iTunes. Although the new "Music" app says "Converting" rather than "Importing" and I don't like that. It also hides it from view unless you specifically look for it. I think that's pretty dumb. Sorry that this was off-topic.

You're missing out on streaming, and some albums being unavaliable because of exclusivity or because the artist took their entire discography off the service. Other than that, everything's the same.

How I found new artists was through discs rather than streaming, I try not to buy any albums that I've already listened to unless I feel like giving myself a treat. I'd remember a conversation I had with a friend about a band, or hear about one through the mainstream pipeline, then check in on what albums they got.
As it stands right now, I was introduced to Slipknot, Franz Ferdinand, Nine Inch Nails, Megadeth, 50-Cent, Dr. Dre, and the N.W.A. through exclusively their CDs, and more to come if I bother checking my local music store.
