Sounds really good, really loved the part where you started merging more instruments together, they blended niceley.
Kinda reminds me of something out legend of zelda.
Interestingly this reminds me of some of the work from nujabes, just a bit less melodic. Still really nice. Loved the intro.
One of those tracks that you usually listen when you have tons of hw to do. One of the best tracks from you so far. Feels like you are developing your own style aswell from this track which is great.
Looking forward for more!
Some guy that does DTS shapes and levels.
AWESOME timeHINT : When making PQ level place your custom interiors and textures in platinum/data/interiors_pq/custom

New year bump! Thought I'd share the sheet music for the first classical piano piece I've written since starting this thread. When I have free time I'll get to practicing and recording it, so you guys can have a listen. In the meantime, any pianists here can feel free to try it out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Some background: I was in the ferry terminal at Woodside, NS (a city near where I live) and there happened to be a piano there for people to play, so I sat down and immediately came up with what is now the first four bars of the piece in the preview above, and one of its several main themes. (Incidentally, Lamp was there as well - this was during her first visit.) A couple other themes in the piece you might recognize from the Mother's Day and Thanksgiving improv tracks, and the rest are taken from bits of old, unreleased, unsynthesized improv recordings (which is how I come up with most of my ideas). The end result took about a month to write in total, and I think it turned out great.
Awesome that we get to now see sheet music! (Three lines trolling )
I really enjoy when you get inspiration like that from a particular place. Lamp, I guess you have now known what it's like to witness a composer at work
As usual, really like the genius chords and elsewhere unseen patented Perkesque feel -- especially in terms of its wanderingness.
"it's the internet eguy. where children are men. men are monkeys, and women are PQ."
Thanks guys, glad you like it! About the MIDI thing, since it is written in Sibelius it is possible to auto-generate a MIDI file (which I did, and posted in the music channel on the "opera" discord for anyone who joined that). It's really choppy tempo/dynamic wise, though, so I'll hold off on posting it here until at least a more polished version (and hopefully a real, synthesized piano recording like my improv tracks).
Figured I'd post a few more of my classical pieces. This one was written in March 2015, and recorded in August 2016. The themes in it were later used in one of my electronic tracks - bet you can't guess which one.
More piano music! Five short pieces based on themes from my electronic tracks (prize of at least one free thank-you if you can name them :p). As with Woodside Whimsy, I'm just posting the sheet music for now until I can do a recording, so any pianists who are interested can try 'em out.
This track contains themes that I came up with while improvising on the piano at Long and McQuade in Woodlawn, Dartmouth, NS. Improvising on piano, and in particular recording this track, has given me some catharsis in one of the lowest points of my life.
