Does anybody know how to make a transparent marble in Blender?

So i have learned Blender (i usually prefer using Blender 2.49b) and i've made a transparent glass marble with cubes,cones,etc... and when i test it on PQ it shows solid,NOT transparent.Does somebody know how?
 

if you're using the latest dts plugin for DTS shapes, materials should have a Torque Settings tab and you can set the transparency flags in there
