Best place to download MBPU is from the mod thread. You can find all of the skins in marble/data/shapes/balls.

It's totally safe to download, given the download link I posted earlier came from the creator themselves.

mbpu uses an external launcher and communicates with it in ways that antivirus programs don't like. but mbpu is safe

so if i download mbpu and launch it nothing other than mbpu starting up happens?

MBPU is safe to download, the antivirus results are false positives due to the what Go'way said, the game uses a bit of unusual programming practices necessary for some game functionality which the antivirus picked up. Also, the game has not been signed by an external trusted entity (which costs $$$), adding further to suspicion. (in simple words, a big trusty organization needs to say "ok MBPU is completely safe to download we trust it" by throwing money at it) causing antivirus to pick it up.
