Level of the Year 2021

Another year has come and gone. A year that featured the release of Marbleland! And a year that saw 118 levels released to the community. Only one can be voted the best of the best though.

The voting options range from 1 to 7, with 1 being the lowest and 7 being the highest (and 4 being the middle ground). There is no requirement to rank every single level, but do make an effort to do as many as you can! You are limited to one time through the list, but you should be able to change your ranking of a level after you submit your response.

There will be a second round of voting after some time to order the top ten, so stick around for that. Happy voting!

Slight change to the original post and update to the whole thing. The second round will feature the top ten instead of just the top five, and voters will be ranking the levels from best to worst (least best?) rather than giving a 1-7 rating.

Important note: levels must have at least five votes to be eligible for the second round. Please get those votes out!!

Finally giving some more dates! I will close first round voting at the end of this weekend. Submit your rankings before 12:00 AM (EST), Monday, January 24th, and the second round will begin after that.

We move to the second round, where voters will rank the ten highest-averaging levels from the first round. Voting will last until 12:00 AM (EST), Monday, January 31st.

Please vote with some integrity - Google Forms does not seem to provide a one-row-one-column-only style of voting, so while you have the ability to rank more than one level as (for instance) first place, please do not do so. I can see every response, and I will disqualify an entire submission of votes if I spot incorrect voting. TL;DR - each level gets a different number.

Thanks for providing videos in the Discord for people like me who haven't actually played the levels. I was able to rank them fairly well because most of the videos contained full playthroughs as well as speedruns, both of which are important aspects of how good a level functions. Happy to get my vote in before the deadline, and good luck to everyone involved.

Thank you for your submissions! I realized as I counted up the votes that I should've made 10 the highest rank instead of 1, so I will keep that in mind for next year! I still added them up as if 10 was the highest (which means that 10 = 1, 9 = 2, etc.), just because it makes more sense to rank the levels by highest amount of points.

There was a tie for third place, which was decided by the highest average in first-round voting.
