Fun level, really simple and repetitive though.
Good to see your making custom interiors.
Hint: Most of the time, the textures (not the trim) are .5 in size, it makes them look more pro.

I'd give the level a *gulp* 6/10.

Fun, but really really repetitive. Not to mention the gold time was really easy.

Yes, I happen to know of that. I have used it in very few levels I have posted though. I will try that. Oh the Gold time wasn't supposed to be that! I forgot to change it to something lower(can't remember right now, but will check). The level was supposed to be repetitive. I was just bored and my sister hadn't bugged me in over an hour. Also my computer freezes so much so I screw tons up. The level was supposed to be for platinum and much longer. I also couldn't test the level properly due to my computer(Read above) which also makes deciding Gold time like 3x harder. But thanks. I was expecting like a 3/10

Detour 2 is the one with the skyscraper, Detour has the King of the mountain start.

I got QuArK the other day and found it pretty easy to use(I don't know why people complained it's too confusing.), so this is my first level created with QuArK.

I don't blame them. I've never created anything with QuArK yet. I wonder if it's the retro-looking interface that intimidates me.

I guess they aren't used to all the advanced features. You can still create basic things, but most are confused on how to import textures. I'm still learning, so you will see more from me soon! Also, the level is hosted on my website so you can try that download.

I played Mind Tricks. It tricked my mind, but only for a little while.


Anyways, here are my best times so far:




Your Gold time is kinda high, but don't worry. All my levels have easy-to-beat Gold times, and I'm trying to improve them. I tell you, some people are amazing route finders, so it's difficult to get a good Gold time set. Trust me, I know how it feels.

Yeah, I set the time when I first released the level.

I now realize that the GT and level name are both pointless.

My best is 19.97, I'm currently trying out a new path, not exactly sure it's gonna work out, but whatever.

I just played mind tricks (after... a while after i came out >_<) i really liked it.

I found a nice route that can easily go sub-17.
Best time atm: 17.73, found a little shortcut b4 the superbounce thingy.
You should enter this in lotm, i'd give it a nice score.

Why is it when I go to your page I begin to download Astrolobe.ogg? Please do something about that.

I've been interested in sampling some of your work so I downloaded Yellow Yodler and Mind Tricks, two very nice little levels. I also thought I might provide some feedback (kinda nice not having to do a full-fledged review).

Mind Tricks was a nice mini puzzle level, and the concept of figuring how to climb up without the use of the Jump Boost (which seems available but isn't) was interesting. Unfortunately, the level is only hard if you aren't creative with your wall-hits (maybe there's another solution for getting off the lowest area, but this is what I did). Once you get up, the level was a bit too obvious in my opinion. I also felt there were too many hints, but this could very well be just me – the level would have been more challenging without the signs and the Go down first, then up. help trigger. Puzzle levels are the one case in which I would say to leave hints out of the presentation (or at least to minimize).

Yellow Yodler is an okay level. I think you were onto something because the layout is interesting, but it didn't really materialize very well, and the challenges are neither creative nor original in any way (not to mention too easy for most). The downward slope to the end was fun, but aside from that, there wasn't really much to recommend this level. Nonetheless, the combination of sky and texturing was good, even if yellow wouldn't be my first choice for a color-themed level (I did do a decent red level, though – Red Blaze.).

Keep it up!

Mind tricks is pretty cool

One thing i have against it is the gold time... Which i can beat by... A full minute.
You may want to re-relesae the level with a lower gold time (25 seconds).

I do believe that Matan has (yelled) stated several times that he does not want politics at all discussed or portrayed on this forum. While this is most certainly not the place to be discussing it, MarbleDuck should probably change it before anyone is offended.
