I am getting a brand new Mac Mini 2.6 GHz in a few days. Would that bring an improvement from my IC times from this 2006 MacBook 2 GHz?

It's random, you might get a better IC and you might get a worse, will be interesting to see what you get, even though IC will be removed :p

Yes, but IC will still be in MBG, right? So I could still test it? I'm getting the new computer tomorrow, so if IC will not be removed by tomorrow I can test it.

MBG will not have anything removed. IC and all glitches will remain and are always allowed for WR runs.

Unless those are in MBG vanilla don't bother. The FPS in MBP (before 1.60+) makes it that higher FPS = lower time, thus IC WRs are more achievable.

I don't think I ever posted my IC race times on my Mac Mini for MBG.

IC 1: 7.878
IC 2: 28.586
IC 3: 1:36.648
IC 4: 1:10.860
Last edit: 21 Sep 2015 14:31 by NF. Reason: IC 2: 28.586, not 28.590

IC race is actually not consistent. It can be off in the thousandths if you run it on the same computer multiple times.

@MOTB, probably because your fps fluctuates a lot when playing

(Bumping. Sorrynotsorrybutitsrelevant.)

Might as well see what my IC is on my new laptop. After playing ICR1 like 8 times, it seems to me that the times get worse the more you play them. With that said:

IC 1: 7.882
IC 2: 28.590
IC 3: 1:36:663
IC 4: 1:10.683

Pretty mediocre...
