I have 1.21 but can't beat UT Par times should be high, to accomodate for all skill levels. otherwise levels aren't fun. I got just under 4 minutes my first time, par should be 4.30 - 5.

On this level, Par Time is easily beaten in any run in which there are no major mistakes.

No point in arguing BUT par times should allow for novice players and may mistakes - after all, people may want to explore/go slowly on their first ever run!

Skill Course 3: MBP (1:04.35)

Since people think that the UT is hard to beat, here's a good UT path for this great level: Skill Course 3: MBP. I think sub min is possible with some more new tweaks.

As I forgot to mention, this level is aimed more for the Advanced/Expert player. After all, it is Skill Course.

Agreed, that was a tremdendous pathway! (My favorites were the part where you go back onto the sand to get the jump boost, and the part where you skip the 3-trim wall trick.)

I just get used to a level that has a difficult Par Time, get good at the challenges, and then go for the win. It may take more work, but a good challenge is always rewarding.

Big hooray

TLWA:MBP, SC3 + Meander

Hey all! Read on for some talk about the vid and the levels in it.

The hardest parts about TLWA were when you had to land on the 32 unit wide ropes. It's hard to control your spin on such a thin platform. I'm thankful for the viewing platform, without which I wouldn't have this recording . The UT for this level is 1 min 35 secs.
Skill Course 3 shows an easy path for sub minute. Majority of the path is IC's, with a few tweaks near the end that allowed me to beat his time by a fair bit. I challenge somebody to go for sub 50 . The UT for this level is 1 min 14 secs.
Meander, oh boy Meander. This is the hardest run I have ever had to do and the longest time a recording has taken me to do. I am SO pleased about my final time, read below for a bit more info:

I had a demo recording on Meander by Brixar for a fantastic 16.46. When I played the demo IT DIDN'T WORK!!!

...So I tried for a lower time...

o: missed a PERFECT 16.34!!!
o: ARGH!!!

...30 minutes later...

o: NOOOOOO
o: NO
o: NONO
o: MUCKED UP A PERFECT 16.15!!!
o: THAT IS UNBEATABLE NO!!!
m: u said perfect on 16.34
m: you'll get sub 16
o: sub 16 impossible
o: 16.15 was a mega fluke

...2 minutes later...

o: wtf
o: 16.15 AGAIN!!!
m: LOL

... about 45 minutes later...

o: W T F WTFWTFWTF
o: 16.06
m: sub 16
m: if u hit sub-16
m: ill laugh at u so bad

...I have dinner and about 15 mins after I start playing again...

o: me=legend
o: 16.03
m: lol well done

...half an hour later something happens, and I try to remain cool...

o: wow
o: im sure youll love the vid now

...then I break down...

o: 15.** ON VID YES I AM A LEGEND I LOVE YOU
m: is this where I point and laugh at you?
o: YAY SO HAPPY I AM PHYSCHED THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT YOU ARE MY HERO AND LEGEND AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
o: awesomest run EVER!!!

Watch the vid for my final time that I doubt anyone will ever beat!!! The UT for this level is 35 secs. I really hope you enjoy this great video .
