Are you kidding? Go do it! It's a fantastic level: challenging, fun, very replayable, etc. If you don't nominate it, I'll be severely disappointed.

I would have a video up on YouTube, but iMovie's being an a-hole to me giving me an 'Unknown Error' when I import the footage.

To those people who have tried to help me on MSN, if I put the .mov file in the Media folder, if I drag in a Fade In transition, the sound will mute for the duration of the fade. I am using Apple Motion JPEG B as my codec. Don't tell me to change to a different codec because that's the only codec where I can capture 40 FPS smoothly.

You don't need 40 fps because youtube compresses it down to 30 anyways

I don't think that's true. I've seen one of Hikaru's videos, and it was incredibly smooth.
If I make my FPS 30, it acts as if I was capturing at say..20 FPS. I make it 40 FPS because it captures nicely.

But that's not the main point. Has anyone else ever gotten this 'Unknown Error' when importing, and how to fix it?

Well, why don't you try other movie makers Phil, some might end up working, and if you already checked then try now.

In this vid of IC's, you might find that he says something like:

Ownage!!! Phil and Oakster.

I reply with a comment like this:

Ownage Phil and Oakster? Prepare for sub 20 ownage

Don't think I have forgotten. As of tomorrow, IC will learn to never taunt The Oaky ever again...

Dividing Flight - Sub 20

Dividing Flight - Ah, what a level. I was the first to do a vid of it. I got 33.84, which beat the UT (45 secs) by over 11 seconds.
Phil then did a vid for 31.91. He only beat me by about 1.9 seconds, but he still beat me =P
After that, IC made a vid for 27.34. In the description of that vid, he had the nerve to say:
Ownage!!! Phil and Oakster.
HOW DARE HE? I replied with this:
Ownage Phil and Oakster? Prepare for sub 20 ownage
But many months went by without it happening. Many people forgot about it and thought that it would never happen.

That was in February. This is now. Prepare for the score to be settled.

Today, I present you all with a new Level Pack, named Phil's Old Levels, containing 5 of my most favourite levels.

Please read below, you will find it interesting

So, why didn't I release this earlier? Well, in late 2005/early 2006, I had created a ton of levels based solely on the editor, and after, a heap of levels created with QuArK. I was not very good at QuArK back then; I didn't know how to scale textures, create tubes, align textures to slopes, etc etc. These levels were created on my slow, old Dell PC. We got rid of it after a while. I backed up all of my QuArK Maps onto my small (yet untrustworthy) 128MB thumb drive beforehand. We later then got the shiny white new iMac ( ), and I had to reinstall QuArK and Marble Blast. (It wasn't that painful to do). So... I had to copy the old QuArK Maps onto the iMac. I then went on creating some other (mostly) test levels, testing new techniques etc etc. After a couple of months (maybe?), I opened one of my old maps to look back on, and bad news had struck.

The map was corrupt.

I went to try another, and that was corrupt. I was cut.

Now, only until maybe a few weeks ago, I opened one of my old maps with Notepad to take a look at it. It looked like a valid map file! I scrolled down heaps, until I saw something like: /?îÏâmz’-ðO
䬺°ŠÛSê»`›©D¿P4Hö.h x 10^1000. (well maybe not that much, but a fair bit)
I figured out something though. The map code had some poly data followed by the corrupted crap, so I deleted the 'infected' poly, and ended the map file with a } and, it worked in QuArK!!! I was unbelievably happy. Unfortunately though, I wasn't able to 'revive' my first map, because it was only in a .qkm, and ALL of the data was corrupt and wouldn't open (
