I bet the second PQ trailer inspired you a bit for this one, am I right?

In the past, I thought you were only building medium, if not, short levels. But I didn't thought you were able to build something that big and that detailed!
For that, hats down.

Double posting.

Here is the first of the several moving object levels I made, "Follow That Finish". The objective for this level is what the title says. Follow the goal before time runs out. It has the Super Stop, which I will use again in another level, and one of Andrew's Skyboxes. And to give credit where credit is due, I credited them in the artist section.

Now before anyone jumps on the sides and say, "You're a Super Stop copycat, you shouldn't use that powerup", the fact of the matter is that the Super Stop has officially been implemented in MBP thanks to Level Packs 40-49. Because of this, I plan to use this particular powerup for how simplistic it is. Plus, there are some things that hasn't been done with this powerup yet.

Anyway, here is the level. Enjoy!

Here is a story on how this level was made. Over a year ago, I made a level called "Beep Block Hall", which was in my old computer before its hard drive crashed. Thus, I couldn't revisit the idea since. A year later, I decided to revisit the idea and make a better level with it. But I couldn't do it alone, I wanted a remix to Super Mario 3D World's Beep Block Skyway. So, I asked Rozi to create a unique rendition of it for me. Needless to say, I was satisfied with it. Plus, it made the feel of the level much better. That was when "Beep Block Road" was made.

I might do this idea again sometime, with a larger challenge factor. Probably when PQ comes out...

Follow that Finish was fun to speedrun. I got 6.19 after a bit, it can go 4.xx with some kind of crazy edgehit i think

Warning: Spoiler!

I just played Beep Block Road and I have to say... It was really cool. It's an interesting idea and it's fun to play. The only "bad thing" was that the music wasn't loud enough (that can easily be solved in the options) and sometimes it was hard to know when the blocks will change.

Yeah, Super Mario 3D World is an excellent source of inspiration for custom levels. Good looking out.

Oh, by the way, you don't even need the music to progress, just keep in mind that blocks are switching every 4 seconds ;)

I needed the music to notify people of when the blocks are going to switch. Sometimes, its hard to tell when if you don't have the music.

I just tried the level, and it's really fun! It's also hard, and I have yet to beat it. :P
I've noticed that it seems to get a little out of sync after going several minutes without restarting and when the blocks switch there's a frame where they freak out (I think that can be fixed by having them scale over the course of a few frames) but the path nodes come from PQ so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

If you restart the level, there's a high chance the music will de-sync from the platforms, so I wrote some code (with a tiny bit borrowed from PowerUp Facility) that restarts the music when you restart the level.
Code
If anyone wants to use it, just paste the code into the top of the .mis file.
BM, if you want to update the download with it, go ahead. :)

I found out while making this that either MBP runs this twice when you restart or I'm really good at coding.

Since the GBA Battle Courses have been given remakes, I think its about time that I give the SNES Battle Courses a rendition as well. They are designed to be much harder than the GBA Battle Courses because of the size and assigned scores.

I'll be releasing another MP level shortly. So don't be surprised if I double post just to keep you updated.

I'd like to note that sub-4 is possible without an edge hit on Follow That Finish :side:

A sign hit... That's what I did too (I never said I used an edge hit. In fact, idk how to edge hit on that level). A perfect one can surely do the job*

For my path, I hit a trim at the end of the wall and then used the super speed to reach the finish.

I think I do what BlastedMarble does. No sign hit, just use the bottom of the trim of the left with the super speed.

Recently, I've been invested on MBU's reputation for the past few years. I've been playing some MBU and have become interested in their MBG to MBU renditions. So I decided to make a level pack consisting of official MBP levels replicated to MBU levels, with better texturing and a MBU feeling across the board.

Enjoy! Picture: Ramps

The level pack is also available on the Downloads section, categorized in MBP custom levels.

I made this level because 1) I wanted to make a level using the LFAS skybox and 2) Many people in this community seem to prefer short levels in MB. So I decided to make one that doesn't focus on originality, but focuses on making the level fun and replayable. So here it is.

Platinum Time: 16.00

Also included is the Seaside music and a background you can use as your desktop background. And obviously a Super Stop powerup and will be the last time I'll be using it.

Here is a basic level that contains scaling objects just like Beep Block Road. Now I won't be abusing the moving objects too much, because I want the other level builders to think of their own ideas. That is one thing I wanted to consider after a certain discussion.

I won't be releasing levels too frequently this time. Its high time I put more time and effort into my upcoming levels. Including the Meridian remake.

Pretty nice level, was fun to play and definitely what I would consider replayable. :) Here is my review for "Scalene"

Pros:
-The level is very well designed, and looks appealing to the eye. The blue and yellow color combo looks very nice together.
-TM's/Gems are placed well in the level
-The challenges themself are unique and enjoyable
-Love the use of all the textures and windows, almost reminds me of some of Threefolder's levels :P

Cons:
-Sometimes when you jump onto a platform when it is still growing, it will begin to glitch and you sometimes fall inside of the platform.
-The UT/PT is a bit high in my opinion. It's not that hard to get below the UT with proper jumps.
-Even if you wanted to keep this level short and simple, it would've been good to see some more in the level.

Overall, this level is very well executed and very fun to play, despite a few minor errors with bugs it's definitely one of my favorites you've made. :)

Here is my best time:

Looks like these levels are giving us a sneak preview of the features for PQ now that they're implemented in MBP! I enjoy playing these levels! They're quite short yet replayable!

Awesome Hint:

Since the Awesome Time/Score is secret, you will have to beat it in order to find out what it is. Just practice every day, and be ready to keep pressing the 'Restart' button...A LOT!

Since mostly everything in my constructor is fixed in my new computer, I thought I would make a fairly short level. Shocking Trial is a level where you practice your anti-recoil skills.

I noticed that the Moving Platform doesn't reset. You can make it reset when respawning or otherwise by copying the MustChange trigger that activates the platform, setting the copy's "targetTime" to 0, and "instant" to 1, and placing the trigger over the checkpoint.

Perilous Palace Path will not be in further production because the idea may seem too complicated. Plus, moving objects are really underused. Tri-bowl I'm heavily debating on whether or not I'll keep making it, but we shall see.

I tried doing such thing, but when I respawned on the checkpoint, the MP doesn't seem to move back. This was done by using the level editor, although I might have to edit with constructor again.

Oh, by the way, managing MP's in the LE is very risky. Notepad is your friend in that case.

It has been a while since I made a level mostly with moving platforms. It has also been a while since I made a MBG level, not counting Refolded Race which was inspired by Technostar's color refolded series.

This level is a construction themed level. It isn't anything too special, but it is fairly short. It is something you can "progress" through easily.
