It doesn't seem to want to work, also its much easier if you zip the files, otherwise clicking on a .mis will just show the text instead of automatically downloading.

I put the two included files into "platinum/data/missions/". Don't copy the DarkKing43863 folder. If a menu entry in level select under Custom Levels doesn't appear in-game, try putting it into a new folder under missions.
