When I rename an object or even tweak an already-renamed object via the 'Apply' button (say, a Teleporter Destination Trigger, a PathNode, the object to specify the respawn coordinates of a CheckPoint trigger, or some specific object that is involved with custom code) and then select another object (that is supposed to be unnamed) and tweak its position or other dynamic metadata with the 'Apply' button, it has a chance of copying the name of the object I firstly renamed or tweaked. I like to call this as 'Object Name Contamination Bug' and it's really annoying bug especially when building levels with a lot of moving/rotating platforms.
Furthermore, tweaking more objects this way also makes all of such objects copy the name of the object I renamed.
It did not happen in 2.9.x or so. Its cause is likely the keyboard buffer not re-coded to be optimized with the new engine. Because of this, not all people may have it, and it depends on the operating system, or even the keyboard's hardware or the driver/firmware associated to it. Weirdly, it only happens when the 'apply' button is explicitly pressed, not when manually dragging the object or use the bottom bar for translation/rotation/parenting/etc, or removing dynamic fields by clicking the small button next to them.
