Rotational moving platforms are somewhat buggy due to their nature. However, you can see examples of moving platforms in Whirligig's "MarbleBlast Powered Up". He has openly released all of his code and scripts, so you can easily see examples in the mission (.mis) files for levels in which they were used. I cannot guarantee that such code won't be convoluted and confusing, though.
Currently, rotating platforms are not supported in "vanilla" MBG or MBP. You can create a DTS shape file that has a rotation animation with rotating collision, but those have shown errors and clipping problems. Currently (and even in PQ), there isn't much in the way of support for rotating platforms.
