
This is the reason people recommend you start with making custom levels—getting familiar with level building altogether and what makes exciting levels to play—you've shown very little of your mod so far that it will be tough to convince people to contribute. Why wouldn't people want to instead choose a project that already has some shiny wheels and a lot of visible promise?
Take the time to publish smaller projects, and use those to develop your craft. Receive and listen to feedback, and practice! Show people you're worth collaborating with before you take on an entire mod expecting to have a whole team.
