I was thinking this over for quite some time and I had this idea. would it be a good idea to do a Mod that came from a old game I use to play called NeverBall. NeverBall has some of the mechanics as Marble Blast but way different. So what I was thinking was doing a Marble Blast Mod with NeverBall's mechanics and levels?

Now I honestly like Neverball, but I haven't played it in a while. I know what you're thinking -- Mix in Monkey Ball/NeverBall or some other tilt-marble game along with Marble Blast.

I honestly don't see how you'd be able to do that successfully, and it would probably be more boring, even for a modification, however. It's best to just leave those games and principles alone. However, Neverball itself can be modified. (if worked on correctly, there's been a couple modifications already)
You can also modify Neverputt.

I've been wondering too, if levels from Neverball can be replicated in Marble Blast. Some of them will be astonishingly hard to build in the Constructor (such as detailed scenery and curves/spirals) and frustrating to code (especially the level with the two moving platforms following themselves and speeding up their movements as the marble progresses in the level). But your idea seems not to be that bad, if may just be studied by "professional" level makers, which I'm definitely not.

You forget a thousand things everyday. Make sure Marble Blast isn't one of 'em.

This isn't a common idea for a marble blast mod, and I commend you for that. However, from what you've said so far it doesn't seem you've given that much info on the mod itself. Before starting the mod, consider these questions, as they will be important for your progress.

-How many levels, features, and different concepts am I planning on adding in? (It's good to decide this before beginning your mod)
-Are you aware of the amount of time/effort worth making a mod? (I can guarantee it's more than you think)

And most importantly..
-Do you have the necessary experience, patience and determination to complete this mod?

If you've read all of this and feel set, go ahead! I'd love to see some progress on this mod, and if not, you are more than welcome to turn it into a level pack.

Seconding Xedron, just take the example of my Kula World in Marble Blast.
I "almost" had the idea to make it a mod, but I instantly noticed that it'd take me ages to make everything, and that would be worthless and make the players wait extra time for a small load of levels (I had the levels of the Pack 1 ready at this time). So, I turned it into level packs, and that makes the work a lot less complicated to achieve.
Think about that, you'll save an enormous amount of time. ;)

I highly disrecommend you using MBP textures, because it is forbidden. You must start a mod from Marble Blast Gold.

I was using MBP texture that is just a retexturing of MBG something might never will be released.
