Marble Blast Gold: Ultra Overloaded is going to be a future modification in the Marble Blast Website. It will feature levels and content from Marble Blast Gold and Marble Blast Ultra PC. I have both games on my PC, and I will use them to create the modification. I do not have an exact release date for this mod yet. But, I will start working on the modification on June 15, 2018.

IDEA:
The reason I came up with this is, this website mainly focuses on Marble Blast Gold, BUT WHAT ABOUT MARBLE BLAST ULTRA??!! So I, decided to come up with a crossover of Marble Blast Gold and Ultra.

NEW FEATURE:
Marble Blast Gold: Ultra Overloaded will be running on the Torque 3D Engine. This modification will be COMPLETELY different than the mods on the website right now.

The only thing is that our site is not supportive of the PC port of Marble Blast Ultra (in fact, we are told not to place links here), so I'm not sure about what the admins are going to think about this. But it does sound like a really cool idea, and it could have a lot of potential!!

It seems the Platinum Team stole your idea; they put all of the Gold and Ultra levels in PQ and added shaders that resemble Ultra's.
The idea of your mod is to have Ultra levels in it, right? I imagine that anyone wanting to play a level from either that or Gold would either use PQ or play the original game. Anyone who wants Ultra would probably just ask around for it.
A newer version of the game engine doesn't seem like it would bring the mod much more attention. I mean, if you can somehow get the original physics into it, that would certainly be impressive, but what would the main differences that the newer version contains be, that is, the ones that make the mod completely different? The levels are supposed to be existing ones that were made with the older engine, which makes a lot of potential new features much less useful.

Update 3-
Good News! I have re-downloaded the Torque3D engine and recreated the Project: Marble Blast Gold: Ultra Overloaded. Now it works! Wish me luck guys!

You said in the first post that the game "will feature levels and content from Marble Blast Gold and Marble Blast Ultra PC." I hope that if you're referring to custom levels you'll get permission from the creators of those levels. Or did you mean the levels in your game will simply be themed like Gold and Ultra?

Anyway, good luck. Mods tend to have about a one percent chance of releasing, although I think that (if you ignore Jeff's games probably) it might be higher for remakes, that is, non-mods, which this thing you're making is since you're not really modifying Marble Blast. I'd say that getting past the obstacle of making physics that are like Marble Blast's is an indication that the remake is more likely to be released.

Hello marblers!

It has been a while since I have updated this forum post, and I have abandoned this project for quite a while now. Now, the past few weeks have changed, and now I'm continuing this project!

The things being updated to this modification is:
-Will not use Torque 3D
-Given a new name (Name is going to be placeholder until I host a poll on different names)


Here is what has been done so far. Game is EXTREMELY undeveloped. That's why it might look terrible. Some contents may or may not appear in the pictures below.

Hello marblers! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I was just having some family stuff I need to take care of. And the family stuff is personal, so don't ask me about it.

UPDATE!

A lot of stuff in this mod has been worked on a lot since my last update, so let me share all the things that has been changed and added so far.


Things that have been changed:

-All floor tiles have been changed into my own
-Added my own introduction screens (The screens that pop up before transporting you to the main menu)
-The level select gui box, level window, and "Best Times" window has been changed.
-Added new mission loading gui box
-Skybox has changed (I thought it looked ugly.)
-Added my own start pad (finish pad is still in progress)
-Added new power-up box (It's not even a box anymore.)

What about easter eggs?
Will there be easter eggs in the levels?

Edit : Since there is going to be some sort of ultra theme, what about the blast powerup? Its kinda been a staple of MBU. BTW, nice job on the game, looking awesome

Yes, sorry for late reply. Infact, the easter eggs will actually unlock certain things like, Marble Skins, Little clips and tutorials, and Bonus levels. The Easter eggs may not even look like easter eggs in the final build.
