This message confuses me because that file's not even existing.
By the way, first post. Hello!

How did you even manage to get such file into root common directory?
Delete it, and that should solve it.

All the message says is that you probably modified a script file and it mismatched with what we expect with scripts when you log into the LBs (it checks for modifications). However this particular file doesn't exist to begin with, so obviously it mismatches

I have no clue if that's the case, I'm getting the message without any such file in /common/.

Fantastic.

Try right clicking on the marble blast executable and pressing Run as Administrator. See if the error persists.

If it does, go to your root directory (where main.cs, the marbleblast.exe and other files are) and attach to your post (by pressing Reply instead of using the quick reply box) the console.log file.

If we cannot solve the problem via the console file, we're gonna reinstall MBP.
Do not reinstall MBP until I tell you to.

Those are instructions on how to re-install only if we need to, when I say so.
1) in marble/client/ you'll find mbpprefs.cs, mbpprefs.cs.dso and config.cs/config.cs.dso
You need to copy those files to your desktop. They are back up files.
2) delete your entire MBP directory
3) download MBP from philsempire.com
4) when installing (the executable), instead of doing it normally, RIGHT CLICK on it and press RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
5) after you're done, copy from the desktop the config and mbpprefs files back to marble/client
6) run the executable as administrator (again via right click)

The error doesn't persist if I run as Administrator.
However, if I run it regularly, it comes up again.

This didn't happen on my XP ._.

Then you need to keep running as an administrator. This is something that Windows does that somehow causes this error to pop. Oh well.

Yeah, one thing I also noticed too is that Windows (this is a 7) doesn't keep the prefs.cs in the way you'd probably expect; like instead of saving scores in there, it saves it in some outer location I don't even know of.

Likely to be under the Users directory somewhere, or My Documents. Do a search for it on your computer, you'll find it.
