I made a custom level on a mac on the mission template and I renamed the mission template to the name I wanted it to be and it didn't change it, it just made a new template and kept all the interiors there instead of in the one I renamed it. Please help.
1. It's advised to use Modify for your post if you don't have much more to say.
2. It would help if you would post your OS version, which you can see by going to the Menu --> Apple icon --> About this Mac, and listing what it says.
3. What do you mean when you say you edited it via TextEdit? Are you manually adding in and moving interiors and items around by typing it in yourself? If you went and used the Level Editor in MarbleBlast and tried to save it there, check to see if it is in the Username (Home)/Library/MarbleBlast/platinum/data folder (previously marble/data).
4. The Mission Template is a template. Don't edit the original template, rather duplicate it and edit in the duplicate file, renaming it when you want to, making sure that it is a .mis and in a place that MarbleBlast can find it (missions folder). Make sure that the file isn't locked or stationary.
Were you modifying the template mission directly, or were you working with a copy of the template mission? I would strongly recommend you copy the template mission (.mis) and image (.jpg / .png) file(s) first, and then rename the copies to the level you are building.
If you have done this, but are missing the interiors that are located in the original template mission, you should be able to open the .mis file using TextEdit and copy all of the source code, and then open the copied .mis and paste over any of the content in there to 'duplicate' the interior datablocks.
