Ey everyone.

When i'm hosting a multiplayer game, nobody can join me (it says "Timed out"). Note i port forwarded properly (i think so) port 28000 in both TCP and UDP, and firewall is off, also i'm on Mac.
I also noticed that when i launch the Mac version of MBP, the "Port Mapping" line of the Server Setting tab is stuck on "Checking...", and on the Windows version (using Bootcamp) it says "Successful", which is pretty confusing...

I'd really like to host my own game, thanks if you can help me :)

The "Checking" thing is because someone can't seem to get it to check port mapping status correctly. Quite annoying.

It could be your specific router device requires a restart for port forwarding rules to take effect. Verify that it is indeed port forwarded in the router config and that the rule is active, and then try again.

However, I'n more inclined to believe that what Aayrl said is the issue.

This may be a serverside issue .. we have a LAN server that was working just fine for us on Saturday, and now nobody can connect to one another on the same network with the same Timed Out error message. I'm forwarding the information along to HiGuy.

Is this still an issue? If nobody responds, this will be closed due to inactivity.

EDIT: Closed and locked. PM me or staff or make a new topic if you want to reopen this issue.
