Hi there,

Port Forwarding requires some basic Networking knowledge and (of course) direct access either to your cable modem or a local area network router. The typical task requires you to obtain a static IP Address for the machine you plan to be hosting Marble Blast on (typically a Desktop at home, as Laptops may not always retain the same IP if they move about). From here, you simply add an IP exception to your router's configuration to allow listening and sending of information through the chosen port number.

A fairly nice and easy-to-use guide on how to accomplish this can be found here .

Cheers,
~Aayrl

Just as a random side note, my local IP has never once changed despite being "dynamic". However, this would most likely be different depending on your setup and router.
