So i follow all the instructions, i have my ignition version of marble blast gold and I downloaded the mac version of Emerald.. but I must be missing something because everytime I open up the final marble blast gold with all new files, it goes to main screen but i don't see any missions and can't do anything.. please help with full instructions..

Sounds like a script conflict. In Finder, press Cmd-Shift-G, and in the dialog, type:
~/Library/MarbleBlast
and press Go. This should open the MarbleBlast folder. Find console.log and attach it in your post.

If you no longer value your MBG data, remove/relocate the "marble" folder, then run MBE again. This does NOT affect your data for MBP for versions 1.20 or later (including MBP 1.50)

Did you put the IGNITION file inside of the ROOT folder (where the marble, common folders exist? The game needs that as well as the GUI files that you had put in.

Are you sure you have the ignition version of the game? That right there tells me you are using non-ignition. You need to then add demo.cs to marble/client/scripts/ folder and remove the IgnitionGui.gui.dso file inside of marble/client/ui

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.

Actually, I had ignition and I got that message as well. Possibly a Mac thing.

The "marble" folder is not inside any Marble Blast application. It's in the "MarbleBlast" folder, inside the hidden User's Library folder.

This is what the console.log should have looked like. Not exactly that, but "Loading" and "Missing" should be almost exactly the same.

(To be clear, for terms like "MBE", "MB" is simple an abbreviation of "Marble Blast", and the third letter is the first letter of the mod's name. So MBE is Marble Blast Emerald. I tried to spell it out, though.)

Do you have Marble Blast Future installed on your computer? MarbleBlast (in general) has a rather annoying issue on Macs where the Marble Blast developers decided that it should save compiled scripts and settings to the User's "Library" folder, and not isolated to inside the application bundle. (The reason for this is probably some Mac philosophy that applications should not save settings within itself.)
In somewhat nicer terms, it means that if ANY mod uses the "marble" folder, then it will be COMPLETELY INCOMPATIBLE with any mod that uses the "marble" folder as well, INCLUDING Marble Blast Gold, Marble Blast Emerald, old versions of Marble Blast Platinum, and potentially other mods such as Marble Blast Opal and Marble Blast Future.
In Marble Blast Platinum, this is NOT AN ISSUE, because (1.) MBPlatinum does not use a "common" or "marble" folder, and (2.) MBPlatinum has complex changes so that it saves within itself, and does not use the User's "Library" folder at all.

If you "Show package contents" of ANY Marble Blast modification, and you see a "marble" folder directly inside, then it will NOT work with the mods said to be INCOMPATIBLE as above.

ANOTHER NOTE: If you run ANY other mod (besides the latest MBP) BEFORE YOU ATTACH THE CONSOLE.LOG, then the CONSOLE.LOG will be OVERWRITTEN and will be IRRELEVANT and UNHELPFUL. ENSURE that you attach the correct console.log, by posting it right after you launch MBE, and BEFORE running any other mod.

Follow the first block of instructions in my first post. There should be a console.log. There should ALSO be a "marble" folder and a "common" folder. RENAME THESE. Press enter, and type "marble_xxx" or "common_xxx" (or anything to give it a different name), and press enter again. This should make the folders invisible to Marble Blast.

RUN Marble Blast Emerald RIGHT after doing this. If you installed the mod correctly, there should be NO issue.

I know that this ma be somewhat unreadable, I'll try something a tad easier to follow later.

wait i do have a question, MB future did download.. but the only thing that didn't work was bounce pads, they did not bounce, if i duplicated MB platinum could I install MB Emerald through MB Platinum? If yes, please explain in a little simpler format that a "New Marbler" could understand haha

I should really create a visual sometime to explain the issue and help resolve it all sometime. But not now. Bounce pads not bouncing sounds like an issue with init.cs?
