lock [CLOSED] Mbp 1.5 install failed

The Mbp installer for Mac recognizes my copy of mbg as valid , but it fails immediately after with this message

Im using Mac OS 10.6.8

[strike]Well, it seems this is a common problem for 10.6.8? I run it too and have gotten that same error code, and error code 107.[/strike]

I've solved the problem! :cheer: All you need to do is delete your platinum directory and application (1.20). Perfect install after that. I would keep your directory somewhere though, rather than delete it.

By "platinum directory", you mean the one in the library? And by application, you mean the one in the applications folder? If the installer was having issues deleting or moving files, that may have been the issue.

Yes. The platinum directory in the library. I just deleted the application, because I might open it sometime again and mess up 1.50.

It shouldn't do anything while the game is in beta, as it is using a different directory during that time.
