2025 Marble Blast Multiplayer Tournament
Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update for those following only via the forums. The pre-seed round has started and there are just under 10 days left to do your runs. Anyone who doesn't submit scores or a valid reason for needing to miss the pre-seed will not be included in the tournament match bracket, so please plan accordingly. I would highly recommend joining the discord, as it has substantial information about the tournament, including match results, easier scheduling, and content coverage. The rest of this message is a copy of the pre-seed rules to follow to submit your runs. Best of luck and looking forward to the week 1 matches!
The chosen maps are Pyramid, Requisite and Sweep!
You have until June 15th at 2pm UTC to submit your pre-seed results. All results must be submitted in the discord or forums, optionally with a recording.
Regular Hunt Mode will be played, but quick spawn can be used.
The maps are to be played in the order listed. When you load into a map, that is your one and only run, no second chances.
If you are in VC, you must be deafened.
*Seeding Procedure*
To submit a pre-seed score, all players should partner up with another entrant or group and have them spectate and verify their seeding map scores. It is still recommended to record if a backup is needed.
If you can't find the time to play at all, you may also abstain from the pre-seed round. Any players without seeding submissions will be randomly seeded lower than all players which submitted a pre-seed round.
Any players found to cheat or collude during the pre-seed round will be disqualified from the tournament.
*Crash Management*
If crashing is a concern, it is recommended to force close the game before starting and between the games of your round to avoid crashes.
If you do crash, the spectator/s will take down your score and the time remaining. Then, you will resume, only playing the remaining time (for instance, 100 pts with 2:30 left on Sweep, you crash, you resume and finish the remaining 2:30 left, the previous 100pts will be added). Intentionally crashing or otherwise terminating the process of the game to influence the result of a game is forbidden.
*Pre-Seed Tiebreakers*
1. Best rank on a map (for example, if Player A has 3rd, 4th, and 5th ranks on maps out of all players, and Player B has 2nd, 5th, and 6th, Player B will score ahead)
2. Highest points score on an individual map
3. Coinflip
