Gravity Swap: Marble Blast Platinum (1. Beginner Levels) -

Yes, it's finally here, and it's better late than never. Pardon me, but I finally got things out of the way for today to upload this video. Hopefully I will release the 'Intermediate' section by summer.

Let's Roll!: It's a good thing I redid this run!

Jump Tutorial: Same thing as 'Let's Roll!'

Diamond Round-Up: It could be possible to increase the gravity after getting the third gem.

Learn the Friction!: Increasing the gravity is definitely needed.

Learn the Wall-Hit: Wow, I recently discovered a new path over the old one. This is why I showed you two runs.

Gravity Knot: None

Flight of the Marble: None

Teleport Training: Timing is crucial to get to the finish pad.

Busy Bee…: I can't seem to beat James' PR, but oh well...

Learn the Bouncy Floor!: None

Learn the Time Modifier: Honestly, I don't know how to get a sub-1 second like James did.

Learn the Random Force: Don't go airborne for too long or you will go OOB

Magnet Training: None

Ground Zero: Alternate path without the nuke lag

Mini Mountain: My PR is 3.67

Ramps: None

Diagonal Training: The gravity swap trick does save some time when doing the level normally for me.

Keep on Rollin': None

Songs:
Sci-Fi Song (DEMO) - DJVast
Loonboon - Plants vs. Zombies
Vivid Recollection - Krussi

Awesome Hint:

Since the Awesome Time/Score is secret, you will have to beat it in order to find out what it is. Just practice every day, and be ready to keep pressing the 'Restart' button...A LOT!

This is one of the coolest GS compilations I've seen in a long time. Can't wait for the Intermadiate levels which will be more epic(imo). You've done an awesome job pulling off those paths

Marble Blast Levels: Compilation 9 -

As you can see, I did some MB Fubar levels here. If you look carefully, I recently switched out my replica to the real marble skin that iMac's been using.

Notes:

Diamond Collection: None

Four Paths: Took me a long time to beat its Ultimate Time. You have to be careful with where you land.

Frictional Path: None

Fun jumping: A pretty fun level if you asked me.

Ivanas the Ignorant: I have just the right height for the top of this level.
Possible Improvement: 1-2 seconds.

Krakenblitz: This all requires on your momentum and your rebound positions.

Lagos the Lame: None

Pokko's level 11: A good run, IMO.

Shocking Track: Timing with these Anti-Recoils are crucial.

Slide Xtasy: This is my first time improving my diagonal movement on this run.

Supranos the Strong: Don't go too high with the Gyrocopter + Super Jump or else you'll go OOB.
Possible Improvement: 2 seconds?

Tasty Level: The ending is really pesky although I did beat its Ultimate Time before (not on this run).

Test Your Skills: Tweaked this run with diagonal movement and timing intervals.

Winder's Check: Took me a long time to get it almost perfect.

Songs: Waterflame - Jumper 2013, Rosenkreuzstilette - Sepperin Stage II, Plants vs. Zombies - Grasswalk

Awesome Hint:

Since the Awesome Time/Score is secret, you will have to beat it in order to find out what it is. Just practice every day, and be ready to keep pressing the 'Restart' button...A LOT!

Harlem Shake in Marble Blast -

When the Harlem Shake shook the world, I wondered if I can make a spoof of it, and here's the result.

Note: This video was made couple of months ago (hence the black/blue marble skin).

Happy Independence Day!

Marble Blast Levels: Compilation X -

As promised, here's the 10th compilation of Marble Blast Levels, and to make this special, I used some of my favorite marble skins in this video and have put in one more thing (don't reach there unless you really want to know what it is).

Notes:

Array of Movement: I decided to go back and improve here, and this is the result.

Bumper Boats: None

Bridge Over Marble-ed Water: This path is not too hard; what's annoying is where you go OOB even when you land on the far edge of the grass.

Flooded Castle: Passable if you know what to do at the right place/time.

Gassy: None

Going Down: Man I've improved significantly since I decided to redo it. I might upload a video on how much I've improved. Unexpected edge-hit there

A little puzzle: Unexpected edge-hit there

A little puzzle 2: None

A little puzzle 3: None

A little puzzle 4: The edge hit is not that hard if you know where to jump.

Mine Ride: The finish trigger is too hard to go into without actually going into the tube first.

Precision Bounce: Part of Technostick's Technique Puzzles series, this is the first level (probably the easiest) I got UT on (by 1 second!)

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME!: None, other than my PR is 31.05

Velocity Grids: This level is different from the others because your marble would still be moving at an abnormal speed. Fortunately, I was able to beat this level with a few saves (e.g. edge hit at the end).

Which One: None

One more thing… (don't read further unless you want to know what it is)

Whomp's Fortress: The making of this run is a long and hard job, but I think it will be worth showing it to you guys. Back in May, I got an early look at this level. A few days later, I was able to pull off a PR of 2:04.73 (.rec), but the .rec failed. After that, I tried again only with major flaws when doing the path. Until now, I eventually pulled off the path with a 2:06.08 (something that I'm satisfied).

Superlatives:
Unexpected edge-hit: 'Going Down' and 'A little puzzle'
Most creative path: 'Whomp's Fortress'
Most annoying path: 'Whomp's Fortress'
Most obvious path: 'Which One'

Songs: Tatiana Owens - Rewrite, Roshon - Take a Chance, Plants vs Zombies - Ultimate Battle

Awesome Hint:

Since the Awesome Time/Score is secret, you will have to beat it in order to find out what it is. Just practice every day, and be ready to keep pressing the 'Restart' button...A LOT!

Going Down (1.78, 1.62, 1.59, 1.33, 1.20, 1.10) -

This video consists of 6 runs of the same level, Going Up. Each run has a different start to get to the finish pad. I was constantly impressed on how I can quickly go down to a lower time of 1.10.

Song used: Pacific Rim - Striker Eureka

Why are most of your videos private? (I haven't been on here much lately, so I don't know what happened….)

A time can be beaten, but a path can't be rediscovered. The best path stays forever.

Gravity Swap: Marble Blast Platinum (2. Intermediate Levels) -

Better late than never! The Intermediate section is finally here, and I hope you have a happy holiday!

Triple Decker - I have to admit that the ending could have be done better.

Mountaintop Retreat - My PR is 2.92.

Cyclone Launch - 2 runs showing different finishes.

Spin Practice - None

Medieval Maze - None

Mini Marble Golf - No edge hits

Basic Agility Course - This run requires complete spin control in order to get a good time.

Avoiding Hazards - Beats the standard WR time by .39 seconds!

Technoropes - None

Take a Stroll... - The right landing spots and agility are crucial in this run.

Roll Like the Wind! - My PR of 6.28 involves a large tweak of a small rebound after a trapdoor, but I haven't gotten it on video.

Sprint - None

Powerup Practice - My favorite path in this compilation.

Wall Master - None

Byzantine Helix - I was this close to match the standard WR time (off by .01 second)

Convoluted Helix - 2 runs; the last run has a path that I thought off at the last minute

Astroflight: None

Winding Steps: None

Floor Climb: None

Bumpy Highway: I think this run could be improved a bit, but I ran out of time.

Perplexingness: Getting the big gem is somewhat annoying as sometimes I can easily missed it.

Timely Ascent: The right height is all you need to get a low time.

Puzzle Ordeal: It's possible get the first Time Modifier earlier and get the second Time Modifier for a lower time by getting more airborne movement and landing to touch its collision boundary.

Skill Zone: None

Divergence: It's a good thing I redid this run at the last minute.

Songs: Krussi - Unwritten, Computer Clan - Black Resonance, Computer Clan - Ultimatum, Waterflame - Aftermath

Uphill Racing (36.07) -

Here's another expert level done under its Ultimate Time. You probably see at least one obvious mistake, but getting this PR is hard enough for me.

P.S., I recorded this using QuickTime X, and it works surprisingly well.

Song: Something Different - Cyberdevil

Marble Blast Levels: Compilation 11 -

I’m back with another Marble Blast Levels compilation! In this video, you’ll see I’m moving to a different marble skin. Only one run didn’t make it to this video because the fans screwed up the .rec.

Notes:
9-gem puzzle with 8 pieces - Getting the Ultimate Time is really difficult for me since I screw up multiple times on the moving platforms.

Buttons And Their Various Uses - None

football - None

Frictional Obstacle Course - None

Ice Slalom - I found this path very shortly after I can’t do the full path (I might do a run on that).

Icy Waters - Agility is required to survive on the ice.

Orange Obfuscation - There are two different paths shown in this level. My PR is 5.26.

Red Fold - Couldn’t do the harder tweaks, but I think this run is good enough.

Rule of Obtuse Angles - Quite a fun level to do.

Ski Jumping - I think this is a glitch where you restart this level (I used the ‘backspace’ key in this case). I know it’s long, but it’s cool to watch :P

Toboggan Hill - You have to land on the grass to get the gem because landing on the low part of the icy slope can throw you OOB.

volleyball - None

Winter wonderland hunt - This is my favorite path from the entire compilation since I found this path (AFAIK).

Songs:
Ylvis - What Does the Fox Say
Dimrain47 - The Falling Mysts

Marble Blast Levels: Compilation 12 -

After over 3 months since my last MBL compilation, I finally have another compilation for my series. I started to focus more on edge hits on two levels shown here.

Anna & Susan - This is a fun level to play although I knew I can go lower.

Beginner Course - My favorite path...

Diamonds on the sides - None

Garden of Eden - One must be careful of the moving apples to get a better time. Some tweaks are possible.

Gravity Centroid - Took several tries to get sub-10 seconds (even more tries to reach that goal a second time)

Koopshi's Skill Tower - I'm glad I got this time; I couldn't go lower than that for now...

Matrix Master - None

Matrix Playground - I started playing this level several months ago and found this path, and with a few tweaks, I can get around 34 seconds (gold time).

The Mountaintop - One of these levels where I focus on edge-hits; however, I couldn't mastered the second one yet (maybe next time)

Roll and Jump - I never expected to get this low time.

Slide - Never stick to the wall when super-jumping because that will screw your chances of getting the small Time Modifier.

Songs (from the album 'The Apple Boogie'):
Apple II Forever
Breaking Through

Awesome Hint:

Since the Awesome Time/Score is secret, you will have to beat it in order to find out what it is. Just practice every day, and be ready to keep pressing the 'Restart' button...A LOT!

I liked the matrix runs! But on the second matrix level and Diamond Sides, did you have to jump off those platforms to get to the finish? Koopshies level was awesome :)

FYI I did a video of my path of garden of eden, although the actual post got flagged as spam. The video is available on my youtube though. You're path is surprisingly similar. Lol at the music :P

I also liked the roll and jump run for some reason. Short levels are the best!

Marble Blast Multiplayer: Basic Agility Course (42 Gems) -

This was recorded over a month ago, and boy was this a fun match. I am pleased with what I achieved as I collected a few blue gems (5 points) and won 3rd place (I was usually in the last place :P). Enjoy watching the bloopers and actions from me as I go head-to-head against Buzzmusic, HiGuy, and Andrew.

Marble Blast Levels: 13

The making of this compilation started months before the final candidate of Marble Blast Platinum 1.50. That’s why you won’t be seeing the thousandths place of any final time.

Sorry it’s been over 6 months since my last video was uploaded. However, I’m back with another MBL video.

Notes:

avi’s nother level: This level is fairly easy to speed run on. I eventually manage to get sub-15.

The Bounce the Easy Way: Most of the times I cannot get to the icy floor without having to go to the second bouncy platform beforehand. I have to be careful on where I land so I can finish the level smoothly.

Castle Cross: This level requires concentration as I have to jump on the tightropes and perform wall-hits at the right time.

Determination Race: I remember getting frustrated on this level because I would easily fall off the moving platform when making that big jump after the slope. My PR is 26.48.

Dynamics: The only time I got sub-30.

The High and Low Road 2: The second time I got 1.83.

How low can you go?: I would say one of this level’s runs is my favorite (tied to Ultimate Flight’s run).

Martin’s Run 1: Getting under the Gold Time is quite hard for me since I have to be careful with how high I can get to get the Helicopter and how quickly to get the last gems with the Helicopter.

Moonjumper: The first part of the run wasn’t quite smooth, but I managed to Jump Boost to the finish pad immediately after the rebound.

Pokko's short race 1: This level is quite fun to do.

Shifting Corridors: One of my favorite paths. I have to record directly because the .rec would fail due to the fans. I export this video via Keynote (please note the 5-second pause of the clip at the end).

Ultimate Flight: One of the hardest paths to pull off. I have to be careful so I won’t get hit by any of the platforms when I’m flying and still land on the finish pad after hitting the finish sign.

Songs: Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall and Archers Rise - Sway With Me

Happy holidays and to all a good stroll in the Winterfest!

Marble Blast Multiplayer: 1

These multiplayer matches are done last Sunday. Here's the story behind this video:

When I logged into the Marble Blast site, I saw one of the Computer Clan members' server. I've been a Computer Clan viewer for quite a few years. Excited, I jumped in to play matches with other Computer Clan members/viewers. I've been at first place for at least 3 matches (including the ones shown in this video). This motivated me to share this video with you guys.

The levels are not in game order but instead in an ascending order of gems collected per level and the quality of the run.

Also, please watch until the end of the video for a special announcement!

Notes:
Marble City - I know that I am sloppy on getting the gems, but this run isn't that bad overall.

Bowl - Quite a fun level to collect the gems (sorry that I humiliated the other players)

Blast Club - My favorite match for this video! It's quite funny for me to get knocked off by other marbles. Also, this is the only match achieved with an Ultimate Score.

Songs:
Computer Clan - Black Resonance
Computer Clan - Chakras (Draft)
Computer Clan - Ultimatum
Music used at the end of MBG WRR #4 Intermediate
Hildron101010 - Out There (Shadowfire Theme Remix)

The announcement video is from the Computer Clan.

Special thanks to the Ken (Hildron101010) and the other Computer Clan members/viewers for contribution with this video!

Playground [ice] (166)

So winter is finally over, but we can celebrate with this run from Winterfest! This singleplayer run is done on December 31, 2014.

I do notice that this run is somewhat sloppy and has a lag in the middle, but this level is the only level I can do a Frozen time on (when the level is in "ice" mode that is). I hope you enjoy this run!

Song: from that CD Ji Hoon Chun uses

Good job and more impressive by the fact that the Xmas versions of the levels are harder to get good scores on.

Marble Blast Levels: 14

This video includes some of the Beginner levels in Marble Blast Ultra in Platinum. I also plan to include more MBU levels in future Marble Blast Levels series.

Notes:

Learning to Roll: None

Moving Up: None

Gem Collection: I think blasting and wall-hitting to get the second gem saves some time for me.

Frictional Concerns: Note the edge hit is necessary to help along with the blasting

Triple Gravity: None

Bridge Crossing: None

Bunny Slope: None

First Flight: While I can beat the Ultimate Time here, I cannot seem to do the other path that potentially shaves off some seconds.

Pitfalls: Thanks to the blast, I am able to do the “WR” path. On a side note, about a year ago in MBP, I did do the WR without any blasts, but that’s just only once, and I haven’t been able to pull if off again.

Gravity Helix: This level seems to annoy me a lot out of all of the levels showcased. I sometimes miss the finish pad in some cases. This levels requires a lot of reflexes at a higher speed.

Early Frost: An alternate path without any bumper hits.

Winding Road: I did the checkpoint abuse on this run.

Ramp Matrix: The old “WR” path without any checkpoint abuses.

Half-Pipe: This run is somewhat botched, but at least I made it to the finish without the time restarting. The Time Modifier catch is moderately hard to do at the beginning.

Jump Jump Jump!: I wasn’t expecting a time this low!

Songs:
And Then There Were None - Reinventing Robert Cohn
Survivor - I Can’t Hold Back

Marble Blast Multiplayer: 2

This video features 3 multiplayer matches done on March 13, 2015: Playground, Marble It Up!, and Bowl. In all these matches, I compete against 9 people.

Songs:
Survivor - I Can’t Hold Back
Deas Vail - Under Our Skin
Owl City - Deer In the Headlights
Muse - Sing for Absolution
U2 - Invisible (RED) Edit Version

Marble Blast Multiplayer: 3

Here is my next video of multiplayer matches that were recorded last Friday.

Ring - I think this level is really broken because the gravity supposed to change itself as the marble is rolling on the ring. I didn't expect to get first place because this level is really hard when the gravity is broken. :P

Zenith - One of my favorite levels to do multiplayer on. It's hilarious when you got pushed by opponents who are trying to get the gems.

Songs: Delain - Stay Forever, Delain - Frozen

Marble Blast Levels: 15

Since MBL: 5, I have done many custom levels for MBL: 6 - MBL: 13, and recently, my skills for MBP have improved significantly as I get more Ultimate Times. In fact, I have beaten 118 out of 120 official levels according to the Leaderboards. These improvements inspire me to make MBL: 15 a video containing many MBP levels I haven’t really attempted at them before, and it is my largest and most extensive compilation for my Marble Blast Levels series.

Notes:

Flight of the Marble: One of the levels that I’ve been struggling to get Ultimate Time back then. What I need to do is to not go to fast at the start so that I can align the marble with the two gems.

Busy Bee…: Another level that can be annoying at times because I would fail at so many places. Although I improve my PR incrementally, I keep getting 9.xxx as a final time. I found a tweak that rebounding after the first gem to get the second one can help increase my chance of getting the under 9 seconds. This strategy brings me to a 8.904 after many attempts.

Learn the Time Modifier: A level that I’ve beaten its Ultimate Time back then. When I tried to do it again, I couldn’t really beat the Ultimate Time again, so I took a break from that level. I recently went back to it, and after several attempts, I finally beat the Ultimate Time again.

King of the Marble: Recall my 21.37 run in MBL: 7. I tried the WR path, and it’s not that difficult actually. I got a PR of 18.465 which I would say is a significant improvement.

Magnet Training: I attempted to do the edge-hit to the finish pad path. I think I had gone higher on this run than I did with my PR of 6.318.
It took several attempts to get this run. Accuracy is the key here.

Ground Zero: Probably the hardest Beginner level to beat the Ultimate Time on. I decided not to attempt other UT paths and decided to go with the screenshot glitch. Believe me, I had been frustrated as I sometimes miss the nuke, rebound off many areas of the level, or miss the finish pad altogether. Again, timing and positioning is crucial.

Hazard Loop: One of the levels I had not been good at back then. As I did the backwards path, I have to get the tornado part right as the tornado is really strong and I would miss at least one gem. Concentration is really needed for the “tightrope” path as well.

Keep on Rollin’: I was very close to beating its Ultimate Time. The path is also seen from iMacmatician’s MBL: X video. I seem to improve on my edge-hit skills (same from Learn the Time Modifier). I also did an unintentional trick where I edge-hit off the wooden part and rebound off the pole and still land on the finish path.

Medieval Maze: I can’t go under 28 seconds at this time, but the final time is close enough. You need to concentrate on when to turn and doing it efficiently as well as getting the Jump Boost part right.

Ramp Madness: Sharp turns are needed to beat the Ultimate Time.

Basic Agility Course: I remembered that I wasn’t even close to beating the Ultimate Time back then. I recently tried this level again, and I’ve been improving on this level. Jumping on the ice can be frustrating at times especially when I miss any item.

Powerup Practice: I have fun playing this level as this level is fairly easy to go under Ultimate Time. I didn’t activate the Speed Booster as I normally would because it saves me from slowing down after full speed. I could’ve hit the pole before the final gem, but I minimized that chance of failing at the end.

Perplexingness: The only thing that is probably hard for me is to get the helicopter part right as I would go too low to reach the finish pad. I got really lucky after that small edge-hit near the finish pad.

Marble Agility Course: The part with the first four gems is the hardest for me as I would need to edge-hit on the first trim and then get the other gems with no hesitation. I was a bit slow on the fourth gem, but the rest of the level made up for that. I did finish the level without the time restarting at least once maybe, but that didn’t happen here.

Skill Zone: I’ve beaten this Ultimate Time years ago, but I never bothered to record it. The curves at the beginning are somewhat annoying because when I speed-boost on one, I would screw up reaching a gem as the curve is not really continuous. The rest of the level is moderately difficult.

Battlecube Revisited: Fairly easy to beat the Ultimate Time on. I tried minimizing the chance of touching the Gravity Defier when getting the 8th gem or miss that landing after the 8th gem.

Platform Race: I recalled attempting to do the traplaunch on this level, but never successfully performed it, so I decided to stick with the full path. You need to know when to activate the jump + jump boost to go to the finish pad.

Slippery Steps: I’ve been dying to beat this level’s Ultimate Time, so I go with the full path because I felt I couldn’t do the shortcut after the first gem. After many tries, I managed to get a 16.040. However, I wanted to go lower, but I have failed numerous times to go under the Ultimate Time. I decided to do the shortcut; at first, I couldn’t do it right, but after a few tries, I pulled off this shortcut and finished with a 15.520 you see here!

Platform Race 2: Just like on Platform Race, I did the full path here. I used to struggle on the tarmac part, but now I got the hang of it (I was lucky on this part for this run). The helicopter part is what really stumped me as I would get and activate the first helicopter, get the second helicopter, get the gem, activate the helicopter, and get the first helicopter again before the platform ascends. I have to be really careful on the ice/rug part because I would fall if I go to fast on the rugged slopes.

Michael’s Adventure: MBP!: Two paths - one with the Time Modifiers, one without them.
No TMs: Slowing down after jumping over the big gap is quite hard especially from rolling at full speed.
With TMs: Skills of jumping on trims is required when getting the first Time Modifiers.

Combo Course: I did get Platinum Time, but I think I was no where near the Ultimate Time. This level is difficult for me as I would miss a gem for any area. Normally, I would miss the Time Modifier from the Marble Recoil + Speed Boost part; I got lucky on this run!

The Time Modifier Race: A recent Expert Level’s Ultimate Time mastered. I recently tried the screenshot glitch, and after several attempts, I got a 5.317 as a PR, but that .rec failed probably because I set the OOB count too high. So, I recorded my 6.213 and put that in the compilation. After I uploaded the entire video on YouTube, that audio was muted because of a copyrighted claim. I went back to iMovie and switched one song with another song, and I also decided to re-did the run and got a 5.240. Thinking that I could do better, I tried again, and got a 4.666 as the new PR you see here. Normally I would get at least one negative Time Modifier around the finish pad; this run was very lucky!

I hope you enjoy!

Songs: My Chemical Romance - Bulletproof Heart, Ariana Grande - One Last Time, And Then There Were None - Cloak and Dagger, And Then There Were None - Right Here Waiting

Covert Cryptball [110]

In observance of Halloween, Marble Blast Platinum Online is doing a FrightFest, which features many Halloween-themed levels for Multiplayer. Here's the first Beginner level called, Covert Cryptball. In most cases for Ghost Hunt, you should try to run away from the ghosts or you'll roll away in fear. If you get haunted you still get a chance to collect more gems before you respawn. Enjoy and have a safe night of trick o' treating! Bwahahahahahaha!

Fantastic run! Awesome level and you're doing very well with multiplayer :) My one feedback is that it seems to me that you're being a bit stingy with your power ups. Don't be afraid to be aggressive with those super speeds, especially since it's such a small level, and don't be afraid to run into a ghost once in a while. Looking forward to more from you, especially group play!
