Ouch, looks like you got shafted on a lot of blue spawns (and the double blue multiple times). Small tip: when I'm losing, I usually skip a gemspawn to grab a gyrocopter + blast for the next one. Note this only works in 3+ player games (or 2 player if they're not using D strats), but it can really help you regain some lost points, and feels much better than trying to chase each spawn and only get half.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

I cant help but see this and add on :p

I do not use this strategy unless absolutely necessary, even then it is a risk. If you are winning it is generally a safe bet. But unless you are losing by a lot and need to gain points fast, it is usually a bad idea. You can see an example of a bad time to use (and the backfire) on robert's epicenter video here, lost the game camping the mid.

Those are my two cents.

I agree it's usually only helpful if you're a few points behind and the current spawn is pretty bad, but I have had much better luck using this than trying to chase after low-point gemspawns for no gain. This usually works best on maps like Horizon if you can get a double blue (which is super overpowered imo), and I would not recommend it for everywhere.

New Videos! :)

My goal was top 10 on each level. I did it :D

Levels and notes:
Fizzy Cherry Soda-I'm happy with the time I got.

Marblaxia's Hideout-I can probably do better, but I'm happy with the time for now.

Deck the Halls!-I wanted to get a good sub 10 run. I also wanted the time to not restart... Not that easy...

Jacob's Level-I tried many times to get that smooth ending but I couldn't get it.

Great Divide - Pass It Yourself-I'm really happy with this one... I got 2nd. I had some World Record catches on the Time Modifiers but the time kept restarting at the end. Maybe I'll try again one day.

I'll stop spamming this topic in a few days :)

That was really excellent! My favorite part was probably the mine hits in Marblaxia's Hideout... Very well executed!

Great job on your video! Marblaxia's Hideout and Great Divide: PIY were very good run. I'm glad you've made this compilation.
I think you did great here. I encourage you to make more singleplayer videos.

Maybe at some point you'll realize there's more to multiplayer than camping.

Nice games Robert.

Nice last match, from 1:42 to 1:48 you did exactly what I hoped you would do.

My goal was top 10 on each level. I did it :D

Levels and notes:
DA HOUSE-Look at those top times...

Adventure-I'm happy with this one.

Clock Face-The ending is not that easy.

Broken Roller Coaster-I think you can save very much time if you get a lucky edge hit on the last road before the building with the elevator.

Nice custom start on DA HOUSE.
Also, I was particularly impressed by Broken Roller Coaster and that finish. Very nicely done!

Bridge Of Night-I'm pretty happy with this one.

Determination Race-I'm pretty happy with this one too.

Reverse-My best catch was 1.335 but i messed up :( This is still a pretty good catch.

Trumpet-That edge hit is very hard to get.

Gravity Switch-I'm quite happe with this one as well.

Truly impressive. That wall hit at the end of Reverse looked incredibly difficult.

My goal was top 10 on each level. I did it :D

Levels and notes:
Fullspeed-I'm pretty happy with this one.

Fast Trak-The part after the first gem has some potintial (I think). It can surely go lower.

Tower of Peril-Lucky Wall hit...

Mud Jump-At first I wasn't sure if the edge hit would work but here it is :)

Meandering-My first world record :) It can go lower but I'm happy with this. (Previous world record: Xelna-01:05.271)

Let's see how long will the WR last :)

This is a level made by RDs.empire in order to show that tightropes are bad. He also said: "Person who posts best time on video in 24 Hours from me posting this level will receive a bit personalized prize." So... Here's my run.

Random notes:
-I lost 18 seconds here: 2:20 Anyway, with a perfect run, you can probably go 20-30 seconds lower.
-There's a column of orange pixels in the right of the screen... I don't like it...
- 0:52 Did I just survive that? (That moment when you get stuck to an edge)

2 world records yay :D

My goal was top 10 on each level. I did it :D

Levels and notes:
Super there and back again-I'm pretty happy with this one.

Space Chase Race-I think I'm missing some tweaks but it's a pretty good path.

Snail Course-It's pretty fun to try to finish without the time restarting. (Previous world record: El_Robert-00:00.923)

Deceleration Derby-SIGN HIT! (Previous world record: El_Robert-00:29.351)

Yes... I had the world records and I just improved them. I didn't want to do that but I lost the recordings with the first world records so I had to get them again.
