Easter eggs in MBP 1.12's GUI

In the GUI for the latest version of MBP, there are several little ''easter eggs hidden by the staff for us to find. Post here any easter eggs you've found in MBP, where to find them, and how to access them. Matan, if you object to this topic, please do as you wish to it.

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD! IF YOU WANT TO FIND THESE EGGS ON YOUR OWN, DO NOT READ BELOW!

Here are a few that I've found:

- If you click on the logo in the top-right corner of the main menu screen, a window will pop up with this message:

Quote:Spy47: I'm not using this function but I made it because...I don't know why.

- In the manual, on every page, there is a hidden link to Matan's YT page. You'll have to hunt around for it, but you'll know you've found it when you hear the 'mouse on button' sound.

- If you click on any rotating object in the manual (such as pads, powerups, hazards) and drag left or right, the object will spin faster.

- If you pause the game and click between the No and Restart buttons, a window will pop up saying:

- If you go to Options in the Graphics tab and click on Resolutions, you will get a window with this:

Quote:Spy47: Here you can blow your monitor up.

- When a level is loading, click on Loading, and a window will pop up with a convo between Spy and Matan. Since it only appears briefly, here's a pic of the window:


- In the leaderboards, go to General Rankings and click on Ratings. A window will pop up with this message:

Quote:Spy47: They'll probably commit suicide if they see a negative rating.

- In the leaderboards, go to the custom levels tab.When it shows downloading, click just above it, and a message pops up that says:

Quote:Spy47: ALL THE MAD CODING SKILLZ HERE.

I've only found the Spy47 Was here when you pause in-game.

If you click Resolution in the Graphics tab in the Options, a message pops up.

Another, on/when a level is loading, move your mouse over to the Loading... letters and click on them, it will bring up a window about a conversation between Matan and Spy and Spy admitting guilt.

I found one on the lb go to General Rankings and click Ratings.

Riblet, even though I added yours, it doesn't work for me. I click on Resolutions but nothing comes up.

Marble2, I didn't add yours, because I'm on a Mac and can't use the LBs. Could you be more specific on how to get there, where to click, and what the message says, please?

Where did I say I clicked the tab? I clicked on the word Resolution like Riblet said, and nothing happened.

Either you're going to edit your post and say it, or I consider it as a spam post, add that to your 10 messages in a row in the shout box and give you 5% warning for spamming.

Sorry I can't check mbp now my comp just broke i'm on my Dad's comp I will get a new one 2morrow I hope. I'm not just saying this cause i'm to lazy. Can someone that has windows check it now? Tat would help alot.

Click more to the left, try clicking on Screen.

You should add the random and special messages too

Eh? What?

I think he means there are more messages that are just random stuff and the messages that happen at a special occasion.

Sorry for double post like post, but another:

When you click on the Custom Levels tab, and it shows downloading, click just above downloading in the space, so the above globe place, but it has to be within range of the downloading word, and it says:

Spy47: ALL THE MAD CODING SKILLZ HERE.

Andrew, the random messages appear every 200 OOBs and the specials are every 1,250 OOBs.

I never liked decimals at school. The server doesn't like them either.

Those are all in the middle of the JokeGui.gui.dso in ~\marble\client\ui. (Minus the My Edit parts of course.)

Cheater and it says where they appear

I found alot of these yesterday before I saw this I was going to post them, but no need to now.

At home screen, click the mouse on the MBP online words, and it will say:

Spy47: SPY47 AWESOME GUI!

Yea found that one.

Click on Play at home, and despite whether you are in Gold or Platinum, click on the indicator of which one you are playing, located at the bottom left corner of the level picture, a message will appear saying:

Spy47: CRC generator. Only used by me, just for me, me me me me. Not you. Me.
