Bad idea.

Also, the "No explosions bigger than a nuke" rule is to prevent people from creating unstoppable explosions (Which happened the last time, when someone blew up the galaxy). A meteor is stoppable enough (A meteor that has already impacted, maybe not), but just try not to push that rule unless you can think of many obvious countermeasures. Have fun!
