I would love to have this in real life! I was bored so I made this in about an hour and a half.


Guess how many pieces there are.

Looks really cool! These would be awesome to have in real life. Could you show us some more pictures to see what the pieces are? It's a little hard to tell.

There are 4,890 pieces. :woohoo: And what's more, this thing is barley held together. Each tile has an 8x8 brick in the middle (that you never see because of the trim), and only the 1x1 flat pieces on top are attached. The ones on the bottom are touching the 8x8, but are in no way connected. The trim is made of a bunch of the same cubes that are made with 3 pieces. The start and end pads are solidly built, except for the edges, which could be stuck onto the tiles beneath though. The graphic on them are also made out of 1x1's. It would have been VERY easy to reduce the number of pieces by replacing 1x1 flat pieces next to ones of the same color with larger ones, but it slipped my head. I'm sure you could make a version that is actually possible to build in real life without glue and anti-gravity, but I wasn't trying to be realistic with this.
And for anyone curious, the software is Lego Digital Designer, which is free.


Oh, and I made a gem with 3 pieces, but didn't put it into the little level I made.

Wow! Those textures look great! Maybe someday LEGOLAND will have a giant model of Battlecube Finale on display...

That is really cool! These would go great with my marble :silly: ! Have you looked up the price on BrickLink? You should build them!

Once I get a 3d printer I could print it but it would be in one color :silly:
