When I was in college, I would get sandwiches on bagels fairly often. If the bread is lame, then I prefer bagels, but if it's actually good bread (like sourdough), then bread wins out. Man, I can't even spam on the Spam Board.

Bread, onion roll to be specific. I believe that the onion roll is a severely underrated sandwich bread. I don't even like onions, but that didn't stop the onion roll from changing my life for the better. Next time you're at your local deli, get a sandwich on an onion roll.

Obviously bread. Bagels make for a weird sandwich end because it's got a hole in it. Not that it's not good, just not as good as bread.

Y'know, I've never actually had any problems with it. Everything I've microwaved in it has turned out just as I expected. Maybe black isn't the right color with the countertops and tiling?

Potato bread is goated, toasted or plain. Bagels are usually pretty dry, even if I'm literally just trying to eat a bagel with, like, super liquidy toppings. Way too much bread for anything. Even when it's got raisins and shit in it. Other types of bread depend on the sandwich. Rye is really good for liverwurst, or even just for PB&J

sometimes i like to microwave a soft bagel for like 15 seconds then throw some deli meat in there because the contrast between warm bread and cold meat makes me feel a sense of magical culinary masterminding i rarely get to experience. you should try warm bread strats sometime its life changing

I‘ve never eaten a bagel in my life. While I do eat store-bought bread from time to time, I find bread tastes better when it’s done at home in the breadmaker.
