Not really that enthusiastic about this release now that I've heard all these reviews...

I think that the demo has killed most of the anticipation over this mod. Usually, demos are supposed to build suspense for a product (or in this case mod) but this really turned me, and most of the other members off.

Disappointing.

A few things, Beack:

1. If you're planning on using my skies in the final verison, then disregard the rest of this comment. It's irritating to me to have contributed things and not see them implemented. My skies weren't even in the installer, and I gave them to you months ago. Please think about it.

2. I would recommend changing the title of this thread to MBF- Demo Released opposed to what it is now.

3. I think the textures were very good, and I liked the idea of space water, but the levels were somewhat lacking in quality.

I released the demo because Beack hasn't been on the MBFuture forums for quite some time now, with no apparent cause, except for maybe embarrassment over the marble selector.

You need to make it a .zip folder with marble, client, and all that in, otherwise most people will still be dissapointed.

I'm really sad to say this, but I think Marble Blast Future has died. Beack hasn't been on these forums or the Future forums for quite some time now, after getting caught stealing codes. He was really doing most of the mod by himself, with me and the other staff helping with a few levels or a code or something like that. I'm not going to release what we have done YET, but I will in the future unless Beack returns or doesn't think that the mod is dead.

Oh man, that sucks I don't know why there's so much hate on the demo, sure it's not exactly the most professional, but it was fun to play. There are a lot of grammar errors, (alot maybe? ) but does anyone really care? It needs some polish (OK, maybe more) but it's fine the way it is.

You sould wait some time and if he dont return then you can call this mod dead.
I didnt thought one mistake by Beack could lead to dead mod tough.

Some guy that does DTS shapes and levels.

AWESOME time HINT : When making PQ level place your custom interiors and textures in platinum/data/interiors_pq/custom
makes life easier for you and everyone else :)

It seems that it is off now, you'll know why, so I will release the full mod to the public. Somewhere in the staff version will be the marble selector, however I don't know where that is, so if someone who knows where it is located coughjeffcough then pm me and I'll take it out then put the download link here.

By the way, randslider, since you seem to be the only one I can talk to, delete the GUI file. It's not even the correct one Beack seriously took the wrong dialog, and denied stealing it. I don't mind that you released it at all, actually. I'm just saying that it was the wrong select dialog. That there dialog isn't used in Opal any more, I'm just mad at Beack for stealing and lying.

the file should be in marble/client/ui rand. Then, go to init.cs in marble/client and un-exec the file so that no remains are left.

Before you release can you remove gyroscope shape and add old MBG's gravity modifayer. In showcase vid i saw that Beack didnt used my TM and i think you sould remove my gyroscope shape too. Since MBF is dead i think there is no point to add it and i want to release it to public but not in MBF.

Im arent suprized he didnt added it. After i left MBF (Because of 3 times changing forums and crappy textures he added to first staff release) he propably removed them to get rid of all things i made.
