when I tried using Wine for MBS it didn't function correctly it was lagging my computer so bad. is there anything I can do

Wine's pretty difficult to use, at least that's what I thought when I last used it (couple months ago). If you can get someone who's experienced with Wine (don't know who though, maybe HiGuy?), I'm sure he/she might be able to step in and help you out.
First look around to see if there's anything on YouTube like a tutorial for beginner users of Wine. :)

If you're using wine, try playing around with the video modes. Some computers only get like 5fps with Direct3D video. Try using OpenGL. If it's still slow, try disabling shadows.

Even though I have only seen like 5 minutes of the stream, from what I've heard the feedback was actually quite decent. Maybe you should, for example, check the Marble Blast Super thread and compare the two.

Sometimes it may come across as harsh, but people wouldn't even have put in the time to write criticism if they didn't think the mod had potential.

some parts of the mac build aren't there which is the Checkpoints and some of the surfaces. like the ice and water textures. My honest guess is that its a MBP Mod. right?

I don't remember checkpoints being in the game, though most (or all, can't remember) MBP frictions are however.
I'm 99% sure you're incorrect about this mod being made from MBP. Not only that, but the Platinum Team disallows people modding MBP without permission.

Changed and ameliorated all the sounds.
I got tired of hearing MBP sounds in a game that is not MBP. But don't worry, MBStop sounds much better now.
You forget a thousand things everyday. Make sure Marble Blast isn't one of 'em.

I don't know if you should do a sequel just yet in my opinion. If you update this more then I could consider it but I don't see a point in doing a sequel in the far future
