Hey everyone!

I am pleased to announce the 2015 Winterfest Event is finally here! Simply run the Marble Blast Launcher client to install the update and join in on the festivities today! For the veterans who participated in last year's festivities, here's a whole list of reasons to partake in this year's updated event:

  • A Brand new Shader engine! Shiny surfaces!
  • Two brand new Winterfest levels to test your skills on!
  • Over 20 unique achievements to unlock!
  • Over 10 unique, festive titles to obtain!
  • Several new flair icons to attain!
  • Daily advent calendar rewards, including unique daily banner unlocks!
  • A fine-tuned Snowball-only game mode!
  • ..and more!

In addition, the system requirements have been slightly modified to ensure optimal performance with the new Shader engine. Older system models/hardware may work, but are not officially supported. Please ensure your graphics drivers are up to date! The list of minimum requirements are listed below:

  • Windows XP SP2+ / Mac OSX 10.6.8+
  • Intel Core2Duo, Core2Quad, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 CPU @ 2.00ghz or better
  • 2GB of ram
  • NVidia: GeForce 8000 series or better
  • ATI/AMD: ATI Radeon HD 2000 series or better
  • Intel: Intel HD Graphics, Intel Iris Graphics or better

The Winterfest Event will be live from December 11th, 2015 and run until January 10th, 2016, so you'll have plenty of time to give everything a try! Grab your friends, or make some new ones, and we'll see you on the icy slopes of Spires!

Everything looks amazing. The shaders (unfortunately I haven't been able to experience them myself, however the videos and screenshots, I have seen) look exceptional. It's almost as if one was in MBU. Great work.

The Winterfest levels are also very nice, and the snowballs are a rather... interesting mechanic.

Great work on this update, the Winterfest levels are really nice and throwing snowballs at other marbles is always fun. :P

Also the shader engine looks gorgeous, a pretty much perfect replica of the MBU look.

The flair is for completing Space Station sub-6 (My idea :) ).

Hey everyone,

I was reading through the chatlog for webchat, and I noticed that a few people were complaining about crashes and several other issues. Please remember to use our support system to let us know about any problems that you encounter. This will help us be able to keep track of what we need to fix, and it will also keep you up-to-date on our progress. Try to be as descriptive as possible, and don't forget to attach a console.log file. Including your system specs (CPU, GPU, and OS) might also be very beneficial to us.

We're really sorry that this release doesn't work well for everyone, but we'll do our best to make sure that all of you can enjoy Winterfest as much as possible!
