Hello Again

Hello everyone!

My name is Ari. I'm sure you don't remember me, but I used to hang out here. A long time ago. Let's see, I was in 7th grade, so that was 10 years ago. Wow, time flies.

Anyway, I'm now 23, graduated from college, and started my first job a few months ago.

More importantly, I somehow stumbled back into Marble Blast Gold, and saw that there was now a free download. And I kinda got hooked. Strangely, more than anything else, it was the textures that really brought back memories for me.

So I thought I'd stop in here and say hi. And, sure, enough, my login still works (I should probably not use the same password on every website for 10 straight years.) How's everyone doing? What are the big developments these days?

Oh wow, it's always great to see old names come back! I'm the same way... Can't seem to get away from Marble Blast Gold. I highly recommend downloading PlatinumQuest, since you can log in and play online to save your scores, and it comes with hundreds of new levels and features that Marble Blast Gold doesn't have. I guess PlatinumQuest is one big development, and another would be Marble Blast Gold World Record Rampage #5 , released just a few days ago! And you can look at the Community Spreadsheet if you want to know how people are doing with speedrunning, level creating, and other aspects of the game. So there's lots of exciting content to check out. Hope you stay around for a while!

Wow, a new World Record Rampage? What awesome timing. One of the last things I remember from before was the last one, and that was the first time I ever saw someone do that jump on the first level. I didn't think it'd be possible to do another one. It looks awesome, I'll have to watch the whole thing.

If you've really been gone for 10 years, then the last World Record Rampage you've seen was #2 in 2009. This most recent one is #5 so there's been a lot of improvement!

And nah I think I'm too new for you to remember. I'm only 20 myself and I've only been here since 2015. It's always nice to meet new (okay technically old) people though!

Also did you change your name color? It's certainly more legible now, haha

Yes, I saw it was an awful bright blue. 13 year old me must have liked that. And it looks like Rampage #3 was in 2011, so I'm sure I saw that. I don't know how you all beat any of that.

I'm having fun just going through the levels now. But I'm wondering what kinds of goals I should set for myself.

Welcome back! Always good to see old names popping back in to check up on the community once in a while, and while I don't remember if I was active in the community as the same time, you're still a still a name I recognise. NF also covered all the big recent events.

Marble Blast is definitely one of those games that always seems to reel you in even after years of not playing.

Yeah that was Avi that made the levels. And yes, the Discord server is a great way to keep in touch with the community, but it's really nice to see people using the forums as well!
