Well, just saying hi. I love marble type games, and played gold from about 2004-2008. Because I was too stupid to look around on the internet, I never discovered MBP or any of the mods or custom levels. I certainly plan to delve myself into the community as fast as possible.

Thanks for not being a corpse~

Hey welcome! I wonder the same thing about PQ.

Enjoy the forums, the game and the community!

I searched "marble blast" and this came up. I was trying to find a link to buy the game somewhere, as I had played it long ago on RealArcade or something, but this came up instead!

And thank you all for being so welcoming. Currently, i'm trying to learn a bit of constructor. Whenever I play a game like this I just gotta make some of my own stuff as well.

Hopefully you will be more ambitious and motivated than me! :P Constructor doesn't seem hard to learn, once you grasp the basics, as I suppose.

So far I'm only having a problem with controlling the 3d camera and getting things to scale right. I suppose i'll hunt for a tutorial. :P

On-site tutorials and help guides seem to be somewhat lacking or out of date, in my opinion. :C

Constructor hasn't been updated in forever (it's usage has been phased out since Torque3D no longer uses DIFs*), so most of the tutorials should be up to date. Here's a few I found just by looking through the Level Building board that may be helpful:

* Jeff will yell at me for saying this.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

If you take some practice making levels in Constructor, you'll sure become a real pro about it. Well, welcome and enjoy your stay, buddy!
(God save marbles...)
