2025 Predictions - Right or Wrong?

Oh boy, another year has come and gone, it's time to see how your predictions were this year. What did you get right? What did you get wrong? Tell us about your predictions a little bit. What surprised you about your predictions? Was there anything that you wish you got right that you didn't? Or wish you got wrong that you did get right!? What happened that you never could have predicted? I want to hear all about it.

Let's see how many rights are there. 

Marble Blast: 

-I will stay #1 in the General Rankings by the end of the year
-I still not to do the gap skip in Learn The Super Jump
-Despair will remain unbeatable
-I will complete all the LB Custom Eggs - I did, but I got the egg in Mysteriocean, but it didn't save for undisclosed reasons. 
-Pack 9 will be released 
-Maybe I will not get a WR in any level - Actually, I never got a WR in Gold levels. I got WRs in 53 different leaderboards levels 
-Make 2 or 4 new levels - I made 2 only. I still don't know how to use Blender...
-I will make a real life Marble Blast meeting face to face (if someone go to the Philippines) - This is very far. 

IRL (including Speed Stacking): 

-I will visit a mall that I never visit - SMDC Fame Mall, Eastwood Mall, Opus Mall, and Town Center Catanauan! 
-I will go outing at other province using van or airplane - I did outing in Batangas from my cousin named Rowena in May, and in Quezon province from my aunt Marina in December. I used van.
-I will eat at least 5 new restaurants I've never tried (even at malls) - I've added 16, but I won't list it. 
-I will get a new Graphics Card - My RX 580 is fixed on January! 
-I still won't get a 5.8 in Speed Stacks Cycle 2 pad mode (I still have a G4 timer)
-I still not getting new cups - No. I got 3 new Pro Series 2 sets. Malaysian Open 2019, Aquamarine V1, and Copper
-I will continue to learn Indonesian words 
-I won't make a new Bricklink order and come back to LEGO. 

Others

-Vico Sotto will be reelected as Mayor in Pasig City again - Very easy! Sarah Discaya did run as a mayor, she failed to win, and she got arrested later on December 2025 for being corrupt! 
-Juan Ponce Enrile will stay living by the end of the year - He died of pneumonia, on November 13, 2025 at the age of 101. 
-"Die With A Smile" will win as a Best Duo Vocal Performance in the 67th Grammy Awards
-3 or more darts player will win their first major title in PDC Premier events - 1 only. Gian Van Veen won his first title at European Championships. 
 

Marble Blast
Get better at level building, perhaps get a level into Pack 9/Pack 10: Yes! Kinda, Marble Mini Golf: Resort is currently at rank 15, which means it'll probably make it in.
WR? Not sure what level, but I've been grinding a few ever since 2.10 came out: Nope, I played a lot of Speedster though and got around 10-15th place on the leaderboards.
Work on a level pack: No.
Now that the game works properly on modern hardware, I assume we'll get another "golden year" for the community: Up to you to decide.
Finish all PQ levels under UT: No.

Not Marble Blast
I switch to Linux again; because Windows 10 is ending support in October:  I switched to Linux Mint in July.
I take my drivers test and get my license: No.
Conservatives win in this year's federal election and Pierre Poilievre becomes the new Canadian PM: No. (thankfully)
Donald Trump's second term by the end of the year is awful, and Democrats are projected to win the 2026 midterms: His approval on a ton of issues is underwater, so I'm going to say this is correct
H5N1 bird flu will cause another pandemic, and I do not have confidence with the incoming US administration to do anything about it: No. Infact, I don't think we heard anything about it since I made these predictions.

Probably not going to happen
If Trump's comments weren't a joke, then Canada, Greenland and Panama will be annexed and become the 51st, 52nd and 53rd state respectively: No. He didn't say much about Panama and stopped talking about Canada around June-July. He made some comments about Greenland recently though.
Techbro grifters get bored of ChatGPT and Generative AI and move onto something else: Sigh. If only. If anything, they got even more into it.
Twitter merges with Truth Social: No, but I wouldn't put it past Musk to do that.

IRL Predictions:
- Relationship
- Move out (higher chance than last year) | Moving in less than 2 weeks
- Same job just with added training (hoping for salary increase)
- Week-long trip away with some buds (got a new car last year and I did a roadtrip with my mother during September after I bought it)
- Improve cooking skills
- Hoping to start doing some car photography
- No stress, just peace.

Misc Predictions:
- With how they're tracking atm, Man U will not reach Top 10 in Prem by the end of the season | 15th
- Meetup with more than one osu! friend | Met the other top player from my city in the gamemode that I play
- Participate in 3 osu! tournaments
- To not exceed 100 hours in Skyblock (I gotta seriously stop playing that game)
- Get another tattoo (I doubt, unless there's a good reason why)
- Play some other games (my circle of games seriously needs to change) | Speedran Y2ROLL a lil bit

Happy New Year to you all.

Well, I think this is my worst year of predictions yet! But that doesn't discourage me one bit, I find it fun just to make a prediction, the right-ness of it is of little consequence to me. That being said I think I can safely say that this year very much did not go the way I expected. I got rejected from grad school yet again, still didn't get my driver's license, and did not seek out a new job... But far be it from depressing, this year there had much I am grateful for. 

Here were my Marble Blast predictions for 2025. I got 2/6 correct.

Marble Blast Predictions 
- Despair will remain unbeaten
- I will return to MB to regain 100% completion of the game
- I will set 3 new PBs
- The community will experience no major controversies (pretty please)
- Someone will set an unbelievably amazing WR (not Despair)
- 3 People will become 100% Awesome

Most of my predictions were wrong. All the ones about me were just 100% dead wrong. Unless you count the handful of offline customs I set times/scores on I didn't get 3 new PBs this year--I meant LB PBs. Nah, I'm just not interested in hardcore grinding out this game at the same level I used to. Don't get me wrong, I still love this game and don't regret not playing it much at all. I still love keeping up with the WRs and seeing new strats and paths being discovered and executed to near-perfection, I'll never get sick of watching the progress of the highest levels of speedrunning this game unfold. And of course I love moderating and watching out for the community the way that I do. Despite the two big controversies this year I still like looking out for everyone, and helping in whatever way I can to bring peace to this community.

But back to Marbles, to the best of my knowledge and my ability to search it out, only two people became 100% awesome this year. PPGPlanet, and Eclipsia. Correct me if I'm wrong though. A couple others were making tremendous progress on that front though, so I wasn't all that far off. And about the two I did get right. Despair wasn't beaten, ez w; but I think a number of records are worthy of being called "unbelievably amazing", here's my list of potential candidates:
- Go for the Green. Once was thought impossible to beat now was shattered by a sizable amount considering how optimized MBG is
- Tornado Launch. Nockess' old cheated time is finally destroyed legitimately! 
- Messing With Physics. The oldest WR in PQ broken! 
- Random It Up!. Was beaten again this year... somehow?!
- Xployt. Maybe the biggest % improved of any level this year? Certainly a series of significant and genius improvements to the already highly optimized route. 

Maybe some others qualify as well, but I'm happy enough with this list, feel free to add to this list though. 

Now as for my personal life, I got 2/4 correct. 

Personal Predictions 
- Another year another prediction about my driver's license. I will get my driver's license!
- I will read at least 12 books (+1 for more than 18)
- I will read the entire Bible this year
- I will find a new job

Well, big picture in my life I'd say this year was one of stagnation. I didn't progress towards my goal of becoming a therapist in any meaningful capacity, if anything I faced a major blowback. I did not get into the graduate school I applied to. Though they will not tell me the reason they rejected my application, I suspect I know why. Though I won't share my suspicions either. Fret not, I can always apply again later. I plan to again this year, though I'm hedging my bets this year as in I'm not getting my hopes up again. Neither did I find a new job. I think that's because when I expected to get into graduate school, it wasn't worth looking for a new job I'd all but abandon for school, and not getting in discouraged rather than encouraged such a pursuit. I'm still reconsidering such a change in my life at this moment, haven't come to any answers just yet.

But on the bright side, there were some things that happened that I could not have predicted. I went from being a barely trained crew member to a nearly fully trained manager plus being trained to hire new crew members at McDonald's in just a few months. At the start of this year I was only trained to do two of the seven or so positions at McDonald's. At around February I started pushing for and being pushed to, train in other areas. By May I was certified as a Crew Trainer which is knowledgeable and skilled enough at all the positions to train new hires. Just in time for summer when we hire 2-3 people a week for whom I did all their first week trainings. Then starting in August or so I started being trained in the hiring process and while I still have a lot to learn in that realm I'm officially the hiring manager for our location. In addition to that, my manager has me training to become a Floor Manager, with responsibilities and training all it's own. Today, Jan 1st, was the first day I wore my official manager shirt plus the manager name tag to work which was pretty exciting. I'm not officially certified just yet, but I'm most of the way there, just a little bit more. I could not have done it on my own though, I have an amazing boss and the other managers are very encouraging and helpful as well. But most helpful of all was God whom I trusted for guidance, wisdom, and motivation through the whole process. I know without Him I'd still be stuck trying to become a Crew Trainer. It's strange looking back at this whole progression, how it happened so quickly because my thoughts through most of it was not how fast it all was but instead how slow it was. How foolish of me! During my rest breaks from work I would almost always turn to a book, I think I read two from that alone, but I did much more reading than just that. 

In 2025 I read 24 books! Double what I predicted the minimum would be. I suppose I get 3/4 correct (3/5?) for reading over 18 too. If I had to pick a favorite after the Bible... Probably Frankenstein (How to Win Friends and Influence People would be a close second). The original story behind the dumbed down version you see in modern culture. Somber and dreary is Frankenstein, but I would feel distraught too if some mound of flesh and body parts I brought to life tormented me too. I've always been opposed to horror but it's starting to grow on me, like a blood sucking leech. But it's not just scary for the sake of being scary, it's got deeper themes about what we are, what love is, revenge, depression, and obsession. The monster only seeks to understand his purpose in life, what it means to love, and in that he inadvertently ends up haunting his creator. It gets my highest recommendation with a strong warning that it's not happy story. If you're curious about the rest of my reading list ask me sometime, I won't go into it all here, too much good stuff. Perhaps this undercuts the achievement of 24 books read but I bought/received 112 books this year. I now count my unread books not in number of titles but number of shelves. I promise there's a good reason for acquiring quite so many books as I did, but I don't need to get into it here, I've droned on long enough about books for toady, feel free to ask me in Discord. That is except for one book I will talk about a bit more. 

The most important book I read this year was the entire Bible! I followed an interesting Bible in a Year plan which was really hard to stick to but was well worth it to read the masterpiece that is the Holy Bible. This really is the greatest book ever written. Or rather 66 books collected together, but I'm not gonna count it as +66 for the list though (and no, counting the Bible as +66 isn't how I got to 112 books this year if I did it'd be more like 600 books o.0). Even if you don't believe in Christianity it's a book that has shaped much of the culture we live in and the wider world, more than any other book and second place isn't even close. It's worth a read just to see how it's contributed to that, if nothing else. But before this turns too spiritual I'll stop harping on about the Bible and books and stuff. This reading plan shaped much of my day to day activities and my commitment to God which has benefitted me in innumerable ways. This was certainly a memorable year for me, if for some of the wrong reasons. 

In conclusion, my ability to predict the future has dwindled, I guess I don't have the spiritual gift of prophecy. No matter, I still love participating in this strange and wonderful tradition the Marble Blast Community has had going on for now 18 years. I predict that I will continue to participate in each Time Capsule. Let's hope I'm not wrong. 

This was quite realistic.

Marble Blast predictions:
- I will switch over to 64-bit Windows and update PQ without any problems.
- I will release Marble Blast Wonder. - What I meant here was the initial release, which didn't happen as the mod was canceled that same month. But I did release all oi the builds.
- I will get 50 million overall ranking.
- I will get 2 Awesome Times in PQ.
- I will get over 95% of the nest eggs in PQ. - Currently at 92% including Bonus, but probably higher excluding Bonus.
- I will get the colored username and role.
- I will have atleast 1 level made by me in Pack 9 (if that releases) - Pack 9 hasn't released yet and I don't see any of my levels on the sheet.

Not Marble Blast predictions:
- I will read the entirety of all the Doraemon series
- I will write 10 articles in CrustyWindows
- I will get a 9.5 at Maths in the 2nd end-term exam - Got a 9.25 )
- I will pirate 5 stuff.
- I will save money to buy a USB. - I did get an USB, but I didn't pay for it.
- I will be on TV.

Marble Blast
- I'll release at least two new levels with a custom interior, but not many more than that
I released Cascade Falls and Violet Skyways. Doesn't get more correct than that.

- Many of the recent creators on marbleland (Jaxx, enderman, abishek) continue to improve and make some great levels
Definitely true, although also was impressed with all the new blender creators as well.

- I'll get around to getting the remaining MBP platinum times to get a colored name (already have all ultimates on PQ so just a matter of time)

- I won't seriously go for any WRs due to lack of time
Wrong if you count MP hunt records, technically correct otherwise. I think I currently hold 6

- Despite that, will be generally more active than I was in 2024

- I'll enter the summer multiplayer tournament and make it to ro16 before being eliminated there
This was a reasonable goal at the time but yeah maybe overachieved a bit.

- The multiplayer map pool becomes too saturated with the additions, with most players specializing in a few niche maps that give them a massive advantage. Winrate on home pick will be 75%+ in playoffs.
No idea what the actual number was but it was probably less. MBOUltimate this is your time

Games
- Persona 6 will be officially announced with a release window
Depression. We try again next year

- Slay the Spire 2 is alright, but not as special or fun as the first
Delayed to 2026 so N/A

- Hytale will remain in development hell and either be cancelled or have no release date
Despite the game being cancelled by the publisher, this was wrong in a roundabout way because the original developer bought back the right to the game and is suddenly releasing it.. this month.

- GTA 6 is delayed to 2026

- I'll start at least 5 single player games I don't finish
I count 3, maybe 4

- I'll write at least 5 articles on my blog
3 once again, one of which being an extensive multiplayer guide for marble blast. Better luck next year

- Valorant will finally see the release of the replay system

Other
- The tech market in the US continues to suffer, with continued outsourcing and visas
- The AI bubble pops and the stock market has a negative year
- I won't get a promotion or significant raise this year due to industry conditions, even if I earn it
5% so debatable on if that is significant

Not yet but not for any wrong reasons.

Seattle Sounders make a deep run into two of the four (tournament-style) competitions that they’re participating in this year: CWC, CCC, USOC, MLS Playoffs. (+1)
Leagues Cup instead of USOC, which ended in an emphatic final win over Leo Messi's Miami at home—I'm giving myself the full point just because I got to see this in person. Otherwise, grouped stage out of CWC (of course, but still a fantastic showing), CCC was catastrophic for injuries, and we lost a Bo3 in the playoffs without actually losing a game lmao.

I do tend to play it safer with my predictions, as some of them are more like resolutions and I enjoy giving myself points, but needless to say this was a nice year from a personal perspective. More on that later.

Good job Mazik you jinxed yourself. 2025 was pretty depressing, I started out hopeful for the future only to be left defeated by the end of it. The most obvious avenue this showed in was the Summer Tourney, but singleplayer and IRL stuff I'd rather not get into contributed to this downward spiral too. I had to give up on my biggest goal of making my own massive PQ compilation of runs because I realized it was no longer possible to ever complete it in a timely fashion, in the manner that I want it done. I came to the realization that I don't have the raw talent to be one of the best in multiplayer, similar to how I realized the same thing for singleplayer but worse because it's not as easy to come to terms with. Overall mood the past few months has not been great, hopefully that changes at some point. 2025 gets a C-, the first half was much better than the later half. 

Balls
1. 120M+ rating
- In a rare turn of events I actually hit my rating goal. I grinded some customs for rating a bit more recently, since I remembered this was one of my goals. Didn't take very long but when customs give a lot of rating it's not surprising that only a few levels would do the job. This would've been another failed prediction if I hadn't given up on my PQ video.

2. 45+ Total WRs
- WR progression still remains the same as ever, with or without my epiphany.

3. 11+ Singleplayer gem hunt WRs in PQ
- Shocking seeing as I only got 1 unique SP Hunt WR (Lupus). No one better than me decided to seriously try their hand at SP hunt levels, and the people who tried to beat my WRs weren't close as of yet.

4. 3+ WRs for MBU WRR 3
- MBU WRR 3 didn't happen, so marking it as wrong

5. Make my first level
- Who's surprised

6. Get consistent with NSJs and apply them to all applicable PQ levels
- Giving up on my big video also means good bye to mastering the NSJ starts

7. Get WR on Treacherous Pits with the new route
- Haven't touched it since 2024, ironically still intend to do this at some point.

8. Cobalt will have 0 WRs by the end of 2025
- He's down to 2 from 3 at the start of 2025. MBU Ramp Matrix was obviously getting beaten, but the wild cards (MBP Mountaintop Retreat and Gunnery Practice) did not deliver

9. Participate in the NGTT WRR with 10 or less WRs
- Yeah, didn't care that much beyond getting a few runs in, I would've achieved this goal by doing nothing too which was funny

10. Make it to the Semis in the 2025 Summer Tourney
- Making finals is more of a curse than a blessing. Even if my mentality gets better it won't remove the fact that this tourney was easily the worst one I've participated in so far.

11. There will be at least 3 upsets in the 2025 Summer Tourney
- 1) SV vs Volt, 2) SV vs Xedron, 3) Serjg vs Keigo

12. Release at least one compilation video

13. New MP maps do not get added in before the summer 2025 tournament, or they do but it is extremely rushed, causing problems and making people complain about it

Correct! In fact, I passed them so hard I had the 11th (iirc) highest average grade out of all 4 groups in my uni profile/specialization.

- I will not only pick up Marbleland and Mod Streams actively again, but I will for a short period of time move them to the Main Server.

Honestly, I've been happier than I was last year, that should've been a milestone in itself. Despite not doing much with the community, I was able to get my shit together and develop a social life. I'm still pretty passionate about marbles, and I hope I can find more time to get involved, though unless I get fucked over big time and I'm thrown back to zero, I'll keep putting myself first over a buncha digital balls.

- I’ll publish a third and final Ultra montage video with a top 10 time on all levels. (Yikes. Not even close, though I did publish a 24-minute compilation of levels across all games as consolation.)
- I’ll become closer to the people in this community. (No. If anything, I drifted further away from the community this year due to burnout and being talkative elsewhere.)
- I’ll also release a marble skin pack.
- MBU WRR3 will release and I will star.

Not Even Marblage
- I recently bought Terraria, Super Meat Boy, Isaac Rebirth, and Hollow Knight on steam. I’ll beat at least half of these games and progress decently far in all of them. (What a shame.)
- I will collect all the strawberries on every Celeste chapter and finish all the B-sides at least. (I did make progress on this, however I only got about halfway.)
- I will attend another concert from across. (I booked tickets for one last year that is in early 2026, but I did also find a concert on the island that I was willing to attend. Still, that doesn't make this prediction true, but it was close.)
- I will release something Music-related. Please. (I never explictly released any music, but I did however write a menu loop for a friend's online party game. Unfortunately the development of that seems to have halted, but at least I did technically put something out there, even if it wasn't in the way I would've hoped.)
- I will complete Cataclysm in Geometry Dash and also make progress on Bloodbath. (I overachieved here - I not only completed Cataclysm, but I also completed Bloodbath along with a couple other extreme demons)
- I will get better at Mario Kart games, particularly Mario Kart 7, for both time trials and multiplayer. (I admittedly hadn't touched MK7 almost at all after making this prediction, however I did play more MKWii. I don't think I got better at the game skill-wise, but I did increase my VR points before stopping because I lost a lot of VR points.)
- I will pass all my GCSEs with a grade of C or above on every subject. Additionally, I will get an A grade on at least one subject. (Yay!! Not only did I achieve an A on English Language, but I also achieved an A* in German.)
- Afterwards, I will enter college taking the Level 3 Information Technology course.
- I will start to stream video games on Twitch regularly and amass a group of friends due to that. (I did start streaming more often, however I did not stream regularly enough to accumulate a group of friends through it.)
- I will edit at least one “big” YouTube video about a subject that interests me.
- I will release exactly one hit level on Marbleland which puts me on the map for level creation before I run dry of ideas and fall off. (I did take the time to learn Constructor, however the great switch to Blender occurred right afterwards and even though nothing is stopping me from continuing to use Blender, it may have put a spanner in the works when I was trying to come up with ideas that were viable to create in Constructor.)

2025 was one hell of year, and many things happened which I never would have expected, so seeing a lot of red in this forum post doesn't bother me too much. Still, let's see if my 2026 predictions are a bit more accurate. Bye now!

I learned a lot of Russian this year, I'll just say that.

- Five attempts to trick me into signing away my rights will fail, but the sixth will result in me finding out about an AI replica of my image being used in an adult entertainment film involving a raccoon.

Why is it always raccoons? Why not a spoonbill? I could have been more creative here.

- Two different people will give me two different unsolicited tarot readings on two different moon cycles in two different states, but only one of them will mention my barber.

I actually expected this one to come true because I have since excommunicated my barber following certain activities, but alas, disappointment again.

- A prophet will find me underneath a trash can, tattered and broken, somewhere in Iowa, and they will claim this is the fate that was intended for me before giving me an ugly pair of crocs.

Well, this entire prediction hinged on the Iowa part, which I didn't end up in.

- Three unprofessional actors will try to talk me into being in their TikToks, not realizing that they themselves had been tricked into being in my TikTok.

I met a lot of people on a lot of rooftops in a lot of places, not in São Paulo, but I will admit to only assuming the soccer players I met like card tricks. Who doesn't?

By "forcibly removed," I am counting the inevitable consequences that nature would have dealt otherwise.

It is wild that I predicted I wouldn't catch a counterfeit bill.

So, yes to the first part, but I was very persuasive. The problem is I never stick around for confession, only communion (if it is actual wine).

- I will still not be interested in anything dealing with Hunt. Hunt is just way too dank. - As hunt's biggest hater, this one could not be more true.

Therefore, I'll mark this as partially correct. With that being said, I'm excited by said developments in 2025 and I'm looking forward to more in 2026.

• I will attempt to set times for all of the MBP Easter Eggs after having done that for MBU. I got halfway there (beginner and intermediate levels).
• The Philadelphia Eagles will defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Final score: 40 – 22.
• The Los Angeles Dodgers will win another World Series. The first back-to-back World Series champions this century.
• A major political scandal will rock the Trump administration. I'd say the controversy about the Epstein files counts.
• Nordic Horizons will be released for Euro Truck Simulator 2, with Missouri and Iowa releasing for American Truck Simulator. We also got Louisiana in American Truck Simulator.
• Speaking of Truck Simulator, the Maghreb ProMods package will be released, and The Great Steppe will get a connection to the main ProMods map. We got the latter, but not the former.
• Cities: Skylines II and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will get major bug fixes and become playable for the masses. They've gotten better, but there's still room for improvement.

2018: I will realize that it's okay to feel proud of myself and I will somewhat get over my fear of sounding like I'm bragging and I will be slightly more adept at socializing. I am much more confident now than I was at 18. Still have the odd moment of awkwardness in social situations, but it's rare and everyone is awkward sometimes.
2019: I will rant more in my ranting category (possible topics include college life, weather stations, fonts, Mario Kart and other games that I have been obsessed with at some point, etc.). I've been using the blog topic more!
2020: My family will purchase cable TV for one month just to watch the Olympics, and that will take up a lot of my summer. I just want to say that if you're in the US, paying $18 for one month of Peacock Premium Plus or whatever the heck it's called is so so worth it. You get to watch anything at the Olympics at any time with no ads. My family did this in 2024 and we're never doing it another way again.
2020: Actually be satisfied with my piano skills. The whole piano thing has definitely gotten better. I basically gave up piano completely from 2021–2024, and then got back into it at the end of 2024 only playing things I wanted to play. I am so much happier with the instrument now.
2021: I will not go to bed past 03:00 this year. I did last year and it was a bad choice. On 2023-01-21 I stayed up until 04:20. That's my record now. But it wasn't a bad choice! I still woke up naturally before 10:00 the following morning.
2023: I will have a "real job" that I'm satisfied with? Please? This happened in 2024.

• We actually get on top of things and start searching for a condo early before our lease is up. Gives us some extra months No but actually that's because we like it here and are renewing our lease

I took a bit of a step back from marbles this year, not because I'm losing interest or anything (there's still tons of stuff I want to do!!) but because I started getting busy with other IRL things and ended up allocating my free time differently. This year really flew by and I can't help feeling a little bit like I kinda didn't do anything marbles related this year, but even that isn't true since I helped with several tech things (updates, SV's tourney website, etc) and a decent chunk of RTA runs. • Xedron, Powerjohn25, and Battlecube314 will continue to remain in the top 3 by the end of this year at (#1/#2/#3 respectively).

• We will have just one Marble Blast World Record Rampage for this year, and I expect the No Gems/Time Travels WRR will happen by the end of this year.

• I won’t be playing on the MB Leaderboards as often as previous years, but I will continue to play more custom levels from Marbleland instead.

Personal Predictions

• I will finally be consistent with exercising on a regular basis as that I can really get back in shape this time.
  • I started rock climbing last summer, but I stopped for several months, but I started back up again at the very end of the year, so I can't wait to see how that would go.
• I will continue to maintain a work/play/life balance with my current hobbies.
  • I was very busy over the past year, but I'd say that I did find a good balance to maintain the above
• I will find even more friends who will be very important to me and continue to be in touch with my existing ones.
• I will now seldomly visit my friends from college.
• I will pick up an old hobby or try a new hobby sometime this year.
• I will improve on solving crossword puzzles with little to no help.
  • I'd definitely take the victory on several of my solves: I was able to solve the NYT Monday Crossword mostly by myself like 2-3 times; I did need to look up a small number of the clues that I was stuck on. It took a bit longer, but it really paid off. I also was able to solve the Apple News+ easy crossword all on my own a few times. All in all, my improvements really start to show. Practice makes perfect, right?
• I will complete all the archived easy full-size crosswords, mini crosswords, and sudokus in Apple News+.
• I will complete all the archived Wordle and Connections puzzles in NYT.
• I will publish 1,000 articles on Appleosophy in total by the end of this year.
  • I was this close - I'm currently at 996 articles, so it won't be long before I reach 1,000 (let's go!!!)
• I will finally read the whole Bible in one year using the 365-day plan (read Old Testament/New Testament/Psalms/Proverbs throughout the year with Psalms being read twice in a year)
  • I have to admit that I did skip some days on listening to the audio version of the Bible plan, but I will try again.

All in all, this was a meaningful year for me. Even though I feel I can easily predict the future, one things for sure is that some things can turn out better than I expected. Cheers to 2026 (stay tuned for my predictions for that year) - hopefully I'll get them in on time!
