Hey there,

Interior testing can be quite trouble some, but not anymore! About a year or two ago, HiGuy had discovered that you can use the create subs button on an interior object to interior test, but people still seem to be confused (multiple people have asked me where the button was, ect.)

This picture shows where the button is. In order to get this access to this button, you must chose an interiorinstance object from the object tree.

then you get access to the button. Press the button and items that you placed in QuArK or Constructor will appear! Magic!

It is that easy. This works on any Marble Blast mod and Gold as long as the level editor isn't disabled or the create subs button wasn't removed.

If you still have problems, post here.

Thanks,

Jeff

Magic? More like magicButton()!

Anyway, thanks for sharing this here. I, for one, have always been annoyed by this, and it'll be a nice help for any level builders.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

Thanks for the guide! This method is way better than dealing with all that crap in command prompt.

Awesome! I actually knew about this for the past... ever since I started making levels?
I didn't post it because I figured everyone knew it, but still, it's amazing how simple that is.

QuArK is still a good map editor

You know what's boring? Opaque marble skins. You know what's not? Glass Marbles!

Bumpy bump. That makes my work easier by putting items on its place in the editor instead use this button to get that items! Which disables me to add items through editor and making interiors by constructor

...... Why did nobody knew about this before and made countless interior test apps for PC >_> (Like the one phil made)
Im just out of words... That thing solves countless hours of moving platform moving around. There's bug though: i placed mbg interior tree and when i added everything 2 gems started falling down, no idea how.

Some guy that does DTS shapes and levels.

AWESOME time HINT : When making PQ level place your custom interiors and textures in platinum/data/interiors_pq/custom
makes life easier for you and everyone else :)

If you want to do an interior test fairly simply using a batch file (assuming you're on Windows), I've posted before about how to do it here:

Falling gems... seems like gravity in MBG? Something new maybe? I only thought ball-superball.dts was subject to gravity.

Maybe he meant the gems appear in lower positions then he originally placed them in?
