:cheer: Hey guys, I have been playing MBG for about 12 years now (originally on the iMac) and I was wondering when Marble Blast Fubar is going to be released? Sorry, I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find any recent info on it and it looks really cool!

Thanks for the help! GhostKoi

If Aayrl (who is essentially the sole developer of the modification) has some free time, he'll continue to put some effort into the game and (finally) release another build of Marble Blast Fubar. He has to balance development with work and life, and can't always get time in for the game.

You aren't the only one who is wondering.

Marble Blast Fubar has been "almost ready to release" for about five years now, chances are good that it'll take at least six months until it's finished.
The main issue is that Aayrl (the only developer) has Real Lifeā„¢ to attend to, as well as university and two (three?) jobs in the meantime. I know that he won't have any free time at all probably until the summer, and then he'll probably just spend it all grinding his Everquest characters (I think he has 5-6).

So yeah. Chances are good that we'll just have to keep waiting.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

I'm still working on it ... bit by bit every day. As soon as I get some vacation time, you may expect the next phase of Beta Builds to be released. I'll chat with HiGuy and see if I can get him on board with helping me organize the client-side of build distribution and I'll keep churning away updates here and there so that you folks can at least play around with it.

Cheers,

~Aayrl

Is there any way I can be a part of it? (Do you have to apply... or submit something?)

I believe Marble Blast Fubar currently does not have any jobs, as it is a one-man project. However, the staff does appreciate your offer :)

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.

As far as I know, the last time people were signed up for the beta was back in 2013, as the beta build currently is. I believe he may be sending out random invites when the time for beta comes. :)
