After so much frustration; over 3 1/2 days' worth of cumulative play spread out over 2 months; 120 levels; hundreds of diamonds, power ups, and hazards, I'VE DONE IT!!!

Shout-outs to:

But I still have one more question:
What do you think would be a good idea for my next Marble Blast adventure?

Thanks. I was thinking more along the lines of Marble Blast Powered Up. What's that like?

Congratulations, Steven! I know how difficult it is to beat all 120 levels of MBP. Guess what? I have 7 levels to beat on the Leaderboards [2 advanced levels (Despair and Morph) + 5 expert levels], so if you can do it, I can do it. I also noticed how patient you were when playing those lengthy levels.

Awesome Hint:

Since the Awesome Time/Score is secret, you will have to beat it in order to find out what it is. Just practice every day, and be ready to keep pressing the 'Restart' button...A LOT!

Yeah, I'd go with that. It was very frustrating. What makes this that little bit more impressive is that for me, the game seems to get hung up every few minutes at seemingly random intervals. The lag time may only last for a second or less, but it's enough to throw me off course. Sometimes I actually had to hope that wouldn't happen. Thankfully, on my successful attempt at Battlecube Finale, on the occasions where it did happen, I was in a position where I was easily able to recover without losing too much time.

Ultimately, though, I feel like the thing that contributed to my completion of the game the most was my determination, something which you pointed out in my earlier topic about having only 5 levels to go. Plus, I can't thank you guys enough for all the help you've given me. I'm still going to keep my account on the forums, because I like you guys a lot! ;) Well, that and there are more Marble Blast mods I'd like to try out, mostly Marble Blast Powered Up.

I completed the game under the following conditions:
  • Completing all levels in order, though on occasion going to later levels to practice them ahead of time
  • Beating par times wherever they existed
  • Being able to use whichever marble I liked, even if its size differed from the normal marble size
  • Not cheating to complete a level, though not necessarily completing levels in the conventional way

Also:

I wish you luck. Despair wasn't as hard as I thought it would be...for me, anyway. Morph was a different story. And depending on which Expert levels you have yet to complete, you may be in for a rough time with those.

Dude... Congrats!!! MBP is basically the hardest mb mod there is! I agree with Frost to start playing mp. That's where you can really compete against other players and really make your mark. Also, it's my favorite part of mb by faaaaar. So play mp!!!

I played marble blast

Maybe I will play Multiplayer someday. And thanks for your congratulation. When I finished the last level, I let out an ear-splitting:
YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS!!!!!!
as I crossed the finish line with just under 75 seconds to spare. I was that excited. I think that was me letting out all the frustration this game caused me in one breath. Don't get me wrong, it's a kick-ass game, but it's by far the hardest game I've ever completed, as far as I can remember. I could be wrong about that one.

Well, I just beat Arch Acropolis and Slowropes. The three expert levels I have to complete are:
  • Speed Attack
  • Catwalks (I have beaten it beforehand, but not in the leaderboards)
  • Tale of the Tall Skyscraper

Speed attack took me a while to complete. It's not too hard when you figure out how to do it.
Catwalks...you know what it's like.
The Tale of the Tall Skyscraper took me just a hair's breath under 82 minutes (1 hour and 22 minutes) to complete on my successful attempt. It's harder than it looks. Trust me.

Oh yeah, by the way, what is "PlatinumQuest"? I've seen a lot of hype about that in the forums, but I don't know what it is.

PlatinumQuest is an entirely new mod of Marble Blast that is an extension of Marble Blast Platinum. It has a lot of new features like new game modes and new elements like ice shards. Lucky for you and me, we can get ready for PQ because you finished all the levels, and I might finish all the levels by the time PQ is released! Here's a trailer and feature spotlights to get your first look of PlatinumQuest!

Congratulations with your completion of the game, Steven! I am especially impressed by your determination and persistence in completing those long expert levels (I certainly would not have the patience to spending 82 minutes attempting to beat TTOTTS. :P) You have great potential to become an expert player like some of us, given enough practice. MBP is definitely the hardest mod of Marble Blast ever existed, so considering you finished MBP already, the other mods wouldn't be a problem for you. :) MBPU is a good choice to begin another mod, it contains plenty of unique features and concepts that you would enjoy. Multiplayer on the other hand is a possible option too, although I personally think you would find it a lot more fun if you accumulate more experience in single player first. ;)

Thanks. I'm going to give MBPU a try. And thanks for the compliment regarding my patience, determination, and persistence. I think those were the things that contributed to my success the most. And you're probably right about accumulating skills before playing the game in Multiplayer mode.

Congratulations on completing Marble Blast Platinum. Marble Blast Powered Up is a great MB modification. It has 25 sandbox levels, each of which has its own unique feature (such as moving tornadoes, rotating platforms, igloo cannons, ice walls, spherical gravity, etc. It also has new challenges for many of the original Marble Blast Gold levels (such as not using any powerups, not touching floors of a certain color, faster-moving platforms, etc.)

Not much to say that hasn't been said before. Outstanding performance and lots of patience definitely paid off. Greater challenges do await with the Platinum/Ultimate times, but for now have a break and try out the other mods. There are plenty with varying skill levels.

Yeah, this is one of those games on which I just refused to give up, and keep playing right through to the end of the last level. I'm working on Marble Blast Powered Up, talking with whirligig about the bugs (which are fixable, thanks all you helpful people), and am patiently waiting for the (potentially) even more difficult PlatinumQuest. Keep up the good work, Matan and everyone else! ;)

PQ will still probably take just as long to integrate into MBP as it would to have it release on its own. :P
