What, only TWO monitors? My desk at home has five, and I can have up to seven at the office. Goodness, quit living in 2008 .

Maybe we should revive the 'Show Us your Setup' thread?

You mean to tell me you don't have a 9-monitor home-theater gaming rig, Trace? I literally pulled 9 wall-mounts out of the 'trash room' and found about 15 or 20 monitors being sold on newegg last Black Friday sale for $10 a piece. The most expensive part of the rig was buying all of the cables and video processing power to cable everything together to the main machine. All in all, probably paid about $300, but we all have our needs

Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
GeForce GTS 8800
4GB RAM
2x HDD - One's 320GB WD 7200rpm, the other Samsung 1.5TB Green 5400rpm
LG DVD/CD Burner
Floppy Disk Drive (yes, for uni, and one REALLY old game that only comes on floppy).

It did C&C RA3 on highest settings at 1920x1080 no probs, and Portal 2 fairly okay WITH A/A at 8x but not 16x. I didn't try anything higher because I don't play games much.

Also notice how low the rpm is on the Samsung. That says I should not be able to record stuff using FRAPS, yet I'm capable of it. Dare I say it barely actually manages it probably because 5400rpm is super not recommended for screen recorders.

My goodness you took a giant leap with your new setup. Easily 4x better. That's interesting to know. Did you just keep your old HDD or did you just transfer everything to your new PC? Oh, and are you still keeping that old computer just in case?
