When I was an early tween (age 11), I began expressing some very huge depression and some anxiety issues that had crawled onto me. The site ROBLOX had helped me with some of my anxiety and depression problems, but ROBLOX wasn't always enough to solve the problems I had. Advice I got from councilors, parents, and teachers really didn't help at all with the exception of ROBLOX to some degree. I was trying to be a social person, but at the same time I was also antisocial to some degree. It seemed like every person I tried to make friends with back then in real life ended up leaving me behind or faking a friendship with me, and let me tell you - it's a very depressing thing to go to and I know I am not alone in that any more. Around the 7th grade however when everything seemed hopeless, I felt like committing suicide and I am glad I am still here and I pulled out of that. No longer do I feel that and that's the only year where I felt that way.

It seemed like nothing would ever help, until after suicidal thought recovery with my councilor, I rediscovered Marble Blast Gold and Marble Blast Platinum and I began playing on my computers again - I immediately went from using the Level Editor again to when I was age 14/15 and I started to work on Marble Blast STOP I. Originally, I wanted Marble Blast STOP I to be a very small modification, but as I realized...
It seemed as that working on Marble Blast STOP actually helped me with my stress level and my anxiety from my freshmen year in high school all the way to today. This is when I realized - I have to continue working on this modification and I want to attempt to make this modification one of the biggest games it's ever been on the Marble Blast Forums (which seemingly, was in level stance for user mods.)
When I finished Marble Blast STOP I and released it to the public, there were some good and bad reviews. Good for the playability, and bad for the presentation. I thought I had wasted work when all people were talking about was the lack of good texturing and the presentation and NOT the actual gameplay, which is why I made rant threads.

During the years of making Marble Blast STOP I, I have found myself in the passion that I love doing - building things and creating virtual worlds. Around that time I began to build on ROBLOX again and I have made some really popular games on there.

Something struck me though, and after a month's break, I immediately began to start the project known as Marble Blast STOP II, and I wanted something to consistently help me with my stress on a whole new level. When Pokémon GO also came out, this year and last year I made more friends and relationships than I ever thought I would have. However, Marble Blast STOP II is the key to what keeps me moving forward and ignoring parts of stress and depression in my life. I have high functioning autism as well - Aspergers' Syndrome, but there's a catch to that - I view things more differently than a lot of other people do which is why I battle against points of quality > quantity on here.

You see, the reason why I'm explaining myself, yet again, on here is to tell you guys why I am making such a huge modification and how it's actually helping me in life. My grades in school, and my attitude and sociability has been way better by working on Marble Blast STOP II and playing Pokémon GO and ROBLOX. But mainly, Marble Blast STOP II is what keeps me going somehow.

Sure, there's a bunch going in my life now compared to years of the past, and through Pokémon GO and meeting awesome friends and sticking in contact with old ones again, along with completing my trading goals on ROBLOX and all the other awesome things that I've come through in my high school years, but Marble Blast STOP I and II seem to be the keys to helping eliminate my stress and prepare a good portfolio for virtual architecture programs - ROBLOX looks highly to MBStop I, MBStop II, and my creativity with building styles on every game I make. =)

Marble Blast STOP's goal is to have 500 levels, 100 to 200 unlock-able marbles, and much more. We want this to be the biggest user modification to ever surface in Marble Blast History. I also want to pay attention to quality too unlike MBStop II. While I am progressing through a fast pace, I have a lot of time on my hands than people seem to think on here, and I have tried my best to pay attention to texturing as possible in this modification. I've averaged about 3 playable levels and 4 awesomely textured levels for MBStop II so far - and we're already proceeding at a date earlier than we expected.

I almost cried reading your story.
I had pratically the same problems you had: people in my class/high school started hating on me (and I bet they still do) because I feel things differently compared to them, and they directly despise it. That also explains why I'm still single today.
I'm passioned at playing MB since a few years, and people don't understand it: they say I'm a filthy geek, I play a trash/unknown game and that I'm never going to have my baccalaureate final diploma.
What they didn't admit is that Marble Blast helped me increasing drastically my english and design skills, and that's a feat for a french student like me. And, like you, I also had... how can I say it... uh... "emotional lifts", just like today (I'll explain it in a blog later, if I have the time to do it). It means I can be happy, and a few moments later, angry or sad. And when I get like extremely sad, I can have suicidal tendencies. And this is when Marble Blast intervenes : it helps me evacuating real life issues and stress.

In other words, if making Marble Blast stuff helps you felling better in your life like in your mind, then I don't see any reason why you should stop.
But, in example of MBStop 2, you're going to need A LOT of time to achieve this.
Wanna feel unstoppable? Then it's all about believing in yourself.

You forget a thousand things everyday. Make sure Marble Blast isn't one of 'em.

just going to throw in my two cents and say that 500 levels is too much even for AAA developers. i'd shoot for 100 if i were you and if you get it done without begging yourself for mercy then keep going.

this project of yours is rather ambitious and while that's perfectly fine, you have to draw the line somewhere before you either exhaust yourself or the the project starts to take a ridiculous amount of time to complete.

sincerely,

I'll take as much time on this as I need to man
But I'm still very ambitious toward my goal and I'm asking for users' help to find texturing/bug errors in the game when it releases - to turn attention to higuy, me, or whirligig!
wish me luck on 500 levels :)
