Wow, its been 2 years already. Today marks the 2 years I have joined the marble blast community. I am thrilled I had also, as I've met some fantastic people here along my journey. Not to mention the game itself, but I also became a programmer because of you guys. Without you guys, I probably would have never coded in my life to be honest.
And then comes the topic of coding multiplayer. I've been coding for < 2 years, and I started multiplayer in May 2011. Do the math, and I was coding for about 5 months the time I started multiplayer. We actually never mentioned this before, but we started the multiplayer project on marble blast emerald. After HiGuy had gotten marble movement coding in less than 30 minutes, I was astounded and determined that with the both of us, we could code multiplayer farther than spy47 with marble blast platinum back in 2007. How the heck did we do it, well I can tell you one thing. It was him mainly at that time, because he was the coding expert. You can't even give me much credit at that time near June 2011, as I remember asking higuy one day, What is a commandToClient? I sit there and laugh now, hence thats one of the main things in the multiplayer protocal. Its what directs the server's information that is passed to a specific client.
And then mbemerald2, which was where multiplayer was going to end up, but we all know what happened to that mod...anyways, lets move on...
Then one day over msn, I get approached by Matan, who told me to get Higuy around a specific time on a specific day, as he had some important information to discuss. At first, I trolled myself, thinking he was going to ban me or something. Whenever he mentioned to us that he needed us for marble blast platinum, I was overjoyed with myself; so was HiGuy, too. We are still working at full steam ahead on mbp, as you guys probably just saw in the PQ board.
Overall, I am so pleased to be in this community of us, we are small but mighty. If we don't stick together, it willl die and fail, and I think a lot of us here have learned that over the years, where we must respect each other and help each other. I have hoped that I have helped out as much as I can so far, minus the occasional NO to joining mods/programming help whenever I am super busy.
So, about the future plans of me staying here is looking good. I plan to be active in the community still for a while. I will not be joining any more marble blast projects, and after mbelite is over I am only going to devote my time to the Platinum Team, as that is where i belong within the community, and where the most dedication could ever go to in this community. I am hoping that we have had a two good years since I've been here; I know I have had 2 fantastic years. Lets go for 3 and more years to come.
Happy Blasting Guys!!

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.
