Great work for making light emitters work; this is an important step in the development of realistic themed levels. Lighting effects were previously restricted to the sky and sun (I am not sure if anyone else experimented with multiple suns).

Just from the MBP LBs custom level packs alone:

Fullspeed - includes .map files

mediafire.com/download.php?fr2nkimnman

It's not totally finished (I would have liked to add more to the level) or fixed up, and I'm probably not going to complete it any time soon, since I'm busy on MB9.

Includes .map files for you to use.

@Mods, please don't add this one to month releases

Even if it's not finished, it's still a great level, although a bit unoriginal. I love the levels where the marble gets to go really really fast.

One thing I noticed - you really need to work on your texturing, especially on the half-pipes. Huge stretched textures on curved surfaces look really ugly.

DUDE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Was having an awesome run, going... probably the fastest I've ever rolled in Marbleblast. And then the game crashed. Rofl. Guess it couldn't handle speeds over (x) amount

And on a sidenote, great level, really enjoyed it. And you don't want this added to RL because you aren't finished with it, or another reason?

Thanks. I didn't know of the curve texturing technique when I made it. I didn't change it at all from the previous version besides adding a desc, gold time, moved the finish pad, and another small thing, and I just wanted to get this out because somebody asked about it, so because it's so sloppy, I don't want it added.

Btw, if anyone wanted to know, I asked seizure about the level.
But Anyway, even if it is sloppy and the textures are stretched, i really liked the level, especially the part with the spiral scenery.
It was a bit like a roller-coaster at some points. Nice level seizure!

PF, Marble Blast is capable of extremely high speeds, I've gotten over 12000 in MBA (where normal running + jumping speed is 300).

@MarbleDuck

To avoid getting thrown out, facing downhill going down the slope just before that part, stay to the right side of the slide. Seems to work for me most of the time.

And Seiz let me retexture the thing, so... I am.

But how do you get the textures that stretched? I keep having to Align to Face everything.

People just seem to care too much about texturing these days. The level was awesome, very creative and I don't mind the stretched textures at all, made it seem like one of those original MBG custom levels... ahh good memories.

The idea with platforms scattered across the level is a great concept, because if you're going at extremely high speeds, why not make some scenery for it? The scenery made it feel like you were spiraling out of control, like you were going so fast everything seemed to bypass you, if you ask me, very original. Keep levels like these coming!

Is there an equation that was used to set the positions of the scattered platforms?

Constructor > top tab (Create, is it?) > Radial clone

I messed with the rotation/position settings until it did what I wanted, and also scaled it up, so it's larger at the start of it than at the end.

Retextured FullSpeed

ALSO, ignore the end of that long halftube. The Fullspeed_pt2 has the correctly textured funneler (the one that funnels you into the hollow macaroni near the long platform at the end)

What was the thumbs.db for?

In other news, the levels were A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

You don't need it, just delete. Thumbs.db are basically cached image files that windows uses (but are hidden files) and when the file is transferred to mac they show up.

Same thing if anyone sees a .DS_Store file or a .localized (or even .spotlight-v100). Stuff Finder on Mac will automatically put in every folder you visit to keep visual settings. Unlike on Windows, it doesn't really speed anything up for Mac.

You're really going overboard with this Shadow. Yes, he made a great level. Although, I wouldn't be calling him the best coder (no offense).

Darn. All I do is fall down to the blue platform below the part before the first funnel. Got 44.87 with it.

I hope you finish Fullspeed soon. It's really good. Replayed it 43 times already or so...
