If and when there is a way to convert a .w3d model file to an interior compatible with MB, I would like to make adaptations of levels from another 3D ball-rolling game (that was a webgame that ran in Adobe Shockwave Player) that would fit in MB. I'm curious about whether or not this is possible. So far I haven't found anything on the web specifically to confirm this.

Thanks :)

Search for any blender plugins that are able to import your w3d files, and then use the dif/dts blender exporter plugins that are available around here.

I installed two addons for Blender, one meant for importing .w3d files and one from here that can import .dif files (but without any of the textures). Unfortunately, Blender is failing to import any of the .w3d files that I want to convert and keeps showing an error like this:

I should note that .w3d files are models for Shockwave Player games that each have all their textures and bits hardcoded into one file. Some of them can load in two other programs for viewing (besides Blender) so I know they're not corrupt, but maybe incompatible. I'm not sure if I can convert those files to difs after all.

I think it works! Just need to convert .tiff files to .pngs so (most of) the textures will display, this part'll be pretty much easy. Thank you! :)
