Hey all, Eguy here! I'd like to make a new topic for world records of Marble Blast Powered Up, one of the best mods (in my opinion) of all time, which was released yesterday![strike] You must have .rec, .avi, or mp4 proof (you can only do .rec if you are on the same operating system as me, which is Mac), and send it to emilethe5guy@gmail [dot] com. If you don't have anything to record .avi or mp4 with, and you use Windows, you can send the .rec to someone on Windows who CAN do mp4 or .avi. Here are the levels! By the way, if you don't know how to do .rec on MBPU 1.5, type $doRecordCustomDemo=1; into the console (press tilde to open console if you're on mac, not sure about windows), then play the level. Make sure you don't press the escape button while recording.[/strike]
EDIT: You don't need any proof, but if some of your times look suspicious, I'll send you a PM asking for proof. I am also trying to get some of my old amazing times on .rec and maybe make a video. B)
Here are the levels!

Good luck all!
EDIT: Sometimes doubler works, sometimes it doesn't. It suddenly started working now.

A couple for you all to scratch your heads on, I can try to create a video if you're really skeptical:
  • Linear: 1:06.50
  • Cirque de la Bille: 14.38
  • Marble Chambers: 54.34

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

[strike]Tin Man Track - 3.60

I'll record later. (The path is pretty obvious regardless).

Edit: Recorded.
Pretty sure it can go a bit lower though.[/strike]

Tin Man Track - [strike]3.53[/strike] 3.51 (recorded)

Maybe I should practice a bit more before recording :P

Guys send your recs :D
Anyway, I looked at some old times from MBPU 1.5 and my best time on springboard snarl is actually 4.15.
Also, it says for some reason best time on tin man track is 3.45, although I have no memory of getting that time. I'll only add HiGuy's times for now if you guys don't mind?

I know you're looking at this topic right now so instead of editing I'm gonna say I meant to say MBPU 1.0 :P Oh, and:
Cirque de la Bille 11.57 :)

3.1x is probably possible too.[/strike]

Tin Man Track - 2.84 (recorded woop woop)

Someone with a better IC could probably beat me though.

Just going to point out that the .rec system in MBPU was changed somewhat due to bugs with the original. Instead of using $doRecordDemo, you should instead use
Code:
$doRecordCustomDemo = 1;
before loading a mission. The old system breaks PowerUp doublers (as you may have encountered), but this new one should be fine (yell at whirligig if it isn't).

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

Anyway, I'll add Jack's time for now. Also, I wasn't recording when the doubler didn't work.

First of all, what is slendernado and why are you so scared of it?

Secondly, I will not record on .avi just to prove times for this list, I only do that for WRRs. I say just trust people and add their times without need of proof, unless some suspicious times appear of course.

Thirdly, I think we should include score for MBCT.

Fourthly, MBCT: 2:24.61, score = 1705

I agree with Kalle. I only asked for proof since thats what many other WRR lists do. I agree that we should trust people unless there's a suspicious time. For example, I have no idea how tin man track 2.xx is possible so I should probably have proof but Jack recorded it thank goodness. Thanks for your input on this because I have never done a WRR list before.

go ahead and find out what slendernado is. :)

Yes. I have 8.88. Adding a few more old times from 1.0. Also adding all the times from Regi's video. Not adding Complexity 19.49 or Cycle 23.87 (both recorded, Complexity is on YT) because one was in MBG and one in MBP.

Sorry, didn't add times yesterday 'cause I was feeling blah. Regi sent me a PM yesterday explaining that I could add my Complexity and Cycle times. I previously asked him if I could add them and he said no because he thought they weren't in MBPU. Anyway, adding those and others' times.
